LARRY THE PURPLE ALIEN and pure sunfarms are some of the worst I tried, maybe they improved but i doubt it. I usually only post the best/worst ones. IT's basically exactly the same as fresh ground, almost no difference at all except this is way cheaper. It's consistent good quality and the only fair price, when I pay 2x for bud I don't get higher not even slightly , I don't get less high with the pre ground so its MY GO TO . Yeah it's a blend, they posted the strains that go into them on twitter. They have indica and sativa blends.
I am smoking OUTDOOR BC BUD grown by my dad now, this stuff I used to buy around for what I paid for the pre ground now (which is still too much) It's decent smoke but not potent enough, gotta smoke twice as much basically.
I would rather smoke the pre ground but I have a lot of this so im smoking this now

When I go to Chinese buffets I do the same thing no matter what which is just eat fried rice and the same three or four chicken types that I like, generally the spicy ones, and that's it. I don't fuck with anything else in the buffet even once. And if I'm drunk enough I'll eat like nineteen free bowls of ice cream because they always have an ice cream machine.

Every single one of those statements are out of context and not representative of the original statement's meaning. I'll just pick one at random, 1989 "nations will be wiped off the map by 2000"
This is referencing a statement made by Noel Brown, regional director of the UN Environmental Programme at the time (not a climate scientist himself), in 1989. The statement attributed in the cartoon is not accurate, what was said was "entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000."
Not that it would happen BY 2000. Whenever climate change deniers reference statements like this to debunk the science of climate change, they're failing to understand that these dates and time frames they're talking about aren't some kind of doomsday clock where the apocalypse happens when they expire. Carbon that gets trapped in the atmosphere can linger there for decades or centuries and migrate to different parts of the atmosphere over time so the effects are cumulative and it may take many years before the actual impacts are felt. But modeling those impacts is just simple chemistry and physics. You take the known thermal properties of carbon, the known amount of carbon we are putting out, and plug in the known qualities of our atmosphere and the energy input from the sun, and you get a model of climate change. Climate is complicated and these models aren't perfect but even when you look at a range from the most optimistic outcomes to the most alarmist possibilities, even the milder scenarios will be devastating for the world.
I don't believe even in the worst case that this is an existential threat to humanity but it will certainly cause trillions of dollars of damage to the economy and likely a very significant loss of life around the world. Prove me wrong using any kind of logic or evidence, not cartoons and memes. You can't. -

Germany is set to tear down a wind farm to make room for a coal mine expansion.
German energy giant RWE is set to demolish the turbines and expand a neighbouring coal mine to alleviate the country’s energy crisis, which was prompted by Germany’s sanctions on Russian liquid natural gas, which Europe greatly depends upon.
The wind farm, near the town of Lützerath, will be used to expand the Garzweiler open pit mine in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Eight wind turbines are expected to be dismantled, with one removed last week, two to be deconstructed next year, with the final five torn down by the end of 2023.
RWE spokesperson Guido Steffen said in a statement, “We realize this comes across as paradoxical, but that is as matters stand.”
The Ministry of Economy of North Rhine-Westphalia added, “If Lützerath were to be preserved, the production volume required to maintain the security of supply over the next eight years could not be achieved, the stability of the opencast mine could not be guaranteed and the necessary recultivation could not be carried out."
RWE will also reactivate three lignite-fired coal units that were on standby.
“The three lignite units each have a capacity of 300 megawatts (MW). With their deployment, they contribute to strengthening the security of supply in Germany during the energy crisis and to saving natural gas in electricity generation,” RWE stated in September. “Originally, it was planned that the three reserve power plant units affected would be permanently shut down on September 30, 2022, and September 30, 2023, respectively.”
Germany’s cabinet approved the decision to activate the discontinued coal units to boost energy supplies, as the country struggles to import enough energy due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
