Nope that's just a skewing of what he said.

"There remains a likelihood that some existing fires they continue to be active through September and possibly later into autumn or even winter," Wilkinson said.

Though he says the word 'through,' it is in relation mainly to September. It could likely go through September, and then even further INTO autumn or even winter.

He said into winter in the actual quote. I doubt he was saying that the snow would be flaming. North Dakota (also known for some pretty fucking harsh winters) on occasion don't get too bad until the very end of December and early January. Winter begins December 21st. Definitely possible to have some lingering fires past that point.

    "4.543 billion years."

    Born idiot, anyone?

Alexa, is the climate changing rapidly, and is it caused mainly by human activity?

    “Yes, and yes”

Thanks Alexa I was just settling a bet

  5. Don’t you think killing defenseless people would make you kind of a pussy? At least kill people who have wronged you or join the army and kill people legally.

Kind of ironic, since science itself is actually a theory. That's what happens when you mix politics with science.

I actually agree with you, science is weaponized for political purposes and most people are too dumb to suss out what’s really going on because the standard of scientific literacy is abysmal.

You’re among the group that’s too stupid to know any better except you just go with whatever the other side says. You are exactly what you claim to be against

Oh I see now you were doing a thing. Well you can’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Science can be an imperfect and controversial process and it’s all subject to the fallibility of man at the end of the day.

But it’s also responsible for all the modern creature comforts you enjoy like schizoposting on a dead website 14 hours a day about shit you know nothing about.

You can’t just take for granted all the shit science came up with that’s beneficial to you but then if something disagrees with your predetermined worldview, NOW science is a problem. It doesn’t work that way

That is absolutely NOT how the scientific method works. Science evolves as the knowledge base advances, some theories advance with a preponderance of evidence and some are cast aside as better data comes to light.

The fact that you think science is “written in stone” is exactly what I mean when I say you are incapable of critical thinking. If Einstein thought science was set do you think he’d ever have amended Newton’s laws that had held up for centuries? You don’t know what science is, you have a middle school education

If you can't even fact check something as simple as that, and instead espouse it as the truth, you're just also spouting bullshit. Now I can't trust anything you say. :( You almost had me, too.

You could just be blindly dismissing it like you blindly believed his was OP, like people blindly believe the Titanic was sunk by a seawater iceberg, like you just blindly throw your trash into the street because you know it doesn't matter.

Obbe is just posting random shit from random people, like you and me and everyone else has done. Maybe some of them are "paid actors" some of them are not, and everything in between. It's up to you to decide what you want to and not want to believe. You have to discern that for yourself. Some of the people you may think are not paid or bought off, are actually paid or bought off, they just wouldn't ever tell you that because they don't want you to know. You aren't a psychic and have no way of ultimately knowing why anyone says what they say. You could be a false flag government plant for all I know. I could be too. Prove that I'm not. Tell me why your local pastors and priests are all genuine and not paid off to tell you some bogus story. Why would you believe ANYTHING in history that you haven't seen with your own eyes.

I mean it's obviously not real, if someone actually discovered a loophole in thermodynamics they wouldn't be selling small-batch generators, and I don't think Musk even has anything to do with it.

my guess is the people behind it paid that youtube channel to promote their scam because the same email address is listed as the contact for a bunch of clickbait channels:

    https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query="GetRichinquiries%40gmail.com"&sp=EgIQAg%253D%253D

as for the actual company itself - their description of how it operates is mostly nonsense; they seem to claim that passing magnets through a coil (like a normal generator) creates some kind of quantum energy they can collect and feed back into the system:

they have links to Facebook and Instagram, neither those sites nor their news page appears to have been updated for several years aside from the 'expected delivery date'.

they claim to be a subsidiary of InfinitySAV but the link to the parent company doesn't go anywhere

they have a street address listed but no number

their whois information indicates that their site is managed by https://www.evolvetech.com.au, who have the same street address listed

Every time I look at this thread I see obbe posting factoids and people getting triggered.

It's the same thing in my NFC East shit talking group lol.

    "The eagles are way better."

"Dallas has 5 rings bitch deal with it"

    "Yeah but .... "

The climate is a'changin boys. It's changing hard and fast. Harder and faster than it ever has. To deny that is to deny that the population of the world is also increasing.

Why is everyone so stupid ?
.why do you think it means we have to care? We don't. You don't.

Nobody has to care. You realize that? You do not have to care at all. Carry on doing nothing. It's fine.

It really is fine. Our lives will never really change. Climate change is not a big deal right now. Just like your paying 0.000 percentage more in taxes won't matter either.

    Mmmmm, this is my ship.

She started out as a stolen Va'Ruun Hymn. Loaded her up with ample cargo space, some shielded cargo and jammers for a bit o' light smuggling, and kitted her out with a battery of lasers for popping shields, EMP cannons for shutting down niggas engines to board their ships (although for some reason they do a fuckton of hull damage - probably a bug, none of the higher tier versions do any hull damage - so that's not going so well... works amazing for blowing people up though), and some missile launchers.

    She's a beaut, imo.

I am autistic and Starfield is a great LEGO® simulator.

In general, no. The entire point of a wind turbine is that it generates electricity by capturing some of the energy from the wind, no ‘fuel’ needed.

But perhaps you've heard of more specialized applications, where wind turbines are used in remote locations not on the main grid. In those locations, when the wind's not blowing, the turbines aren't generating electricity. And large scale energy storage still isn't very mature, so they can’t just store excess electricity to use later. So, a lot of remote locations will use wind diesel systems. Set up a few wind turbines to generate the bulk of the electricity, and then turn on the diesel generators when the wind's not blowing.

Previously, a lot of these communities relied solely on diesel generators. The wind turbines help save them a lot on the cost of electricity by greatly reducing the amount of diesel fuel they need to import – more than enough to be worth the cost of installation. And from a tree hugger perspective, it helps reduce carbon emissions.

On larger grids, the shear number of power plants helps make up for the shortfall when the wind's not blowing at any one wind farm. But even then, there are other sources besides wind like hydro, natural gas, and coal that can be ramped up when needed.

Wind and solar were always ever only part of the solution. A healthy mix of nuclear/geothermal to meet peak demand requirements solves this problem. They’re (basically) infinitely sustainable, and we already have the technology to make it happen, no need to invent and implement new battery tech.

It’s simply better technology than what we rely on now, the free market has already determined that. The only reason it hasn’t taken off is because the fossil fuel lobby has done everything it can to sabotage public sentiment for decades
