Maybe we just think they're complex relatively speaking as it's all we've ever known, but in reality our brains are dumb as shit compared to what's actually out there.
Just because there's fractals and beauty in nature doesn't mean it had to be thought up by someone, could very SIMPLY just be nature being nature and nature as we know it here tends to fall in patterns sometimes.
Considering we have hardly a clue of what all else is out there in just our own universe alone, it's not an ABUNDANCE of evidence when we study ourselves. It feels like it, but in reality it's just a tiny little speck of evidence of anything.
Furthermore Susan, if we could undeniably prove that we are "intelligently designed", it's an entire 'nother can of worms to claim you know specifically who the designer is. If there was one, we could very well be just the equivalent of their version of Sims, on a much grander and more intricate scale, where the player can rewire people's brains and make them believe whatever it wants them to.
You, me, the others, we might all just be cosmic puppets. Your thoughts- not your own. Just someone pulling levers and flipping switches amking people believe anything and everything.

Nice 2nd shift jobbie job and all I have to do is sit down the entire time and drive a fork lift around.
Im fucking geek'd.
Not sure if I'm going to take it or take a better paying and slightly harder type of work job or if I want to take 1 of the other 3 jobs offers that pay a little less but might have better benefits.
Got to decide soon.
