There's no excuse. There's no cop out. It's just that you can't just take one part and point at it and say, "Aha! There it is!". There has to be a fullness of context. You can't just look at one section of the painting and say, "Hark! I see!", because, no, you wouldn't see. You have to look at the whole picture to see what's really there.
