I haven't actively watched anime in fucking years

However, I was last fond of Hellsing (the 13 episode original series)

The only reason why you would want to employ data visualization in terms of malware is to keep track of how well it is doing. In which case you would have a web application that gets it's data from the malware's command and control infrastructure. You then take this data and represent it in a way that is useful to what you want to know. Like total number of infections, countries where the 'clients' reside and that sort of thing.

If you just want to fuck around with some malware send me a PM, i have some samples to play with. Also, if you want to be a little malicious on your own i am sure you know how to install a legitimate remote administration tool and set it to start u at boot. If you need a way to enter credentials on the client side automatically i can write you a small script for that.

I have a couple of crash test machines at work that I use just to tinker with malware. Allow them to be infected with a specific infection and then attempt to remove it and see what it was doing basically. I have also poked around with self-written "malware" just to see how certain things work. Shit I have written would be insta-flagged by heuristics from ANY antivirus, ahahha.

Anyway, if you're GOING TO start an app based on data collection related to security, most people are going to immediately zero in on connections in/out. "WHAT IS GOING ON IN MY COMPUUUUUUUTER BEHIND THE SCEEENESSSS?"

Any ordinary firewall can tell you that. I suppose, what I would like to see that the OS doesn't natively report (or make it easy to report), is a list of programs launched with their date and time, what permission level they ran under, and a general idea of what they did. Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Applications gives some of this information, but it's lacking and needs more info. It also doesn't record EVERY application, which a technician needing to troubleshoot would need.

Make an app that does all of this better than bullshit Windows Event Viewer and better than other downloadable programs.

Back in like, 2003, there was a husband and wife tag-team Jehovah's Witness couple that would religiously come to my door every Saturday morning at like 9am to spread their cult message. I had BEEN warding them off with excuses like, "My parents aren't home right now, maybe you should come back when they're here". That would usually be enough to make them feel uneasy and leave. There was one expection. They were a persistent couple who was HELLBENT on converting us or something. The last actual conversation I held with them, I told them to never come back. This one particular morning, I was smoking meth out of a modified lightbulb and recognized their car pulling down my driveway. I was so fucking pissed. I realized they weren't going to stop. They actually thought they had a change at our residence. So I stripped down totally naked except for my socks and answered the door that way when they knocked. The wife goes, "OHHHH MY!" and turned her head, covering her face, and the husband looked at me, looked down at my SHIT, looked back at me with a BEWILDERED look on his face and struggled to keep eye contact with me without breaking to get another glance at my shriveled and swinging boy-penis. I then told them to never come back to our house again and they never did.

Tkinter is such an ancient toolkit, it has been helping Python fuckers FOREVER. https://docs.python.org/2/library/tkinter.html - I once used it to make a bullshit GUI around my trojan backdoor I fondly named "badcats". I sent it to my unsuspecting girlfriend and her friends as a 14 year old boy and it allowed me remote access of their computers. I used it to do dumb shit like print "YOU'RE A FUCKING SLUT" out of her printer and whatnot. Ha!

PyQt, realistically, is still your best bet, just as you originally thought. Here are some resources for learning it.

    https://wiki.python.org/moin/PyQt/Tutorials
    http://pythonforengineers.com/your-first-gui-app-with-python-and-pyqt/

    http://zetcode.com/gui/pyqt4/

I am NOT a programmer or developer, but I like to tinker and play. Those links helped me. I bookmarked them. Maybe they will help you or maybe you have already seen them. I DON'T KNOW, OK! :)

    Anyway, yeah, PyQT or Tkinter.

I came here to say build your own, but after reading other people saying the same and you saying it isn't an option, that limits us. Store bought/off the shelf computers.............eh........................

I don't like them. At all. I am an IT professional and I repair these heaping piles of shit for people every day. While getting a mainstream, prepackaged, off the shelf computer is fine and all, you're severely limiting yourself in terms of warranty, power, functionality, price point, and just about any other deciding factor.

If you still insist, look at Lenovo or MSI. They make quality shit. Fuck a Dell and HP with their notorious overheating chipsets can burn in hell.

You will need an amplifier and an audio source. Depending on the connections of your subwoofer, this can vary. Choose a bass-heavy song and listen for rattling. If the speaker is "blown", it can be fixed, but it's just a pain in the ass and professionals usually charge a bunch for such a small problem. I'd be able to better help with more info (pics, model numbers, etc.)

Ultimately, you want people to install it on the things you want to gather this data. You need some crash test dummies to test your code. Provide the source code and the process of installation/deployment.

There are some other online resources that will let you spoof any phone number in order to send text messages and such. Some vendors offer subscription services as well and you can have a couple of spoofed numbers.

Still, doing this, the carrier-issued number (your REAL number) is registered with Google servers when Google Voice assigned that new phone number. Triangulation for setup also comes into play, pin-pointing a rough location (within about 50 feet or better depending on connection strength, terrain, etc.) for you when the device was setup and activated. If you install certain apps, they could also get more identifying information from you which could then be hit with a subpoena and used to ultimately identify you.

CountBlah, I love you, but that's dumb. Of course you need a VPN. Just because your ISP isn't active in sending out letters for violations when they are hit with requests, doesn't make you immune to it. That being said, I have skated for nearly a decade VPN-free and torrented all I wanted and never received a letter. It's ultimately YOUR decision. I know I SHOULD be on one, but I am not.

I thought maybe I had clicked "Subscriptions" by accident too, which is what prompted me to do this little "test" in the first place. It happened only on mobile, so being a touch screen, I thought perhaps I hit the wrong link. I carefully and purposefully clicked "Latest Threads". I wasn't hardcore wasted like MQQQQQ suggests. I can no longer reproduce it, though.
