those people who would use heroin if it was legal but don't because it is not are most likely using alcohol now which is a worse drug, a much more damaging substance. they would be better off using heroin.

just because you can do without something doesn't mean you should have to. and seriously, if you want to make this argument, then i'm gonna bring alcohol into the mix. alcohol makes people violent and they don't even have the excuse that it was the need to make money to fund the habit that made them use violence. alcohol just makes people violent and its very unnecessary and mindless violence in alcohols case. at least heroin doesn't make people feel like going out and stating a fight just for the sake of it.
anyway, the point i was making is that its prohibition that drives up the value of heroin that makes it so expensive which drives users into crime. sometimes users criminal behavior will escalate and spiral further as the crime then becomes a way of life. that's prohibitions fault, not heroin or heroin users. nobody was forced into criminal behavior to fund their heroin use before prohibition.
besides i wasn't saying that all users who commit crime to fund their habit resort to violent crime, most(the vast majority) will commit non violent crime to feed their habit. occasionally that will cause them to get into situations where they are forced to use violence to defend themselves. those that resort straight to violent crimes like robbery are people who are that way inclined in the first place.

That's what I'm saying, how could you want that one single opportunity to experience what its like drawing a final breath, experiencing that transition from existence to nonexistence. The ultimate and final trip, its also the moment you find out for sure if there actually is something going on after death.
I don't believe there is tbh, but who can say for sure. I think its gonna be the same as before you were born, which seems most likely. Especially considering what happens to your consciousness when oxygen is cut off from your brain momentarily, you pass out and have no consciousness at all for that period. So it would very much seem that our body is a life support system which without there is no life, no consciousness, no existence at all.
That's how I see it anyway.

I don't even fear a painful death, in fact I fear dying in my sleep more. The way I see it is you only die once and that's the last thing you ever get to experience on this amazing wonderful trip called life which really is just a long series of experiences. I want my very last experience to be something awesome and hardcore, I want to go out with every single nerve and cell of my body on overdrive. Burning, falling or eaten by sharks I think would be a great way to go.
I think people who say they want to die peacefully in their sleep are major faggots. You only get one chance to experience death, why the fuck would you want to miss it? What because you're scared of a little pain? What a fucking pussy. People like that want to miss their death just like they missed their life, because they're too fucking scared all the time. You seriously need to grow a pair.

its prohibition that makes it such a problem. its because of prohibition that nobody knows the purity of their supply from one bag to the next. you can't judge your dose properly when you don't know the purity and this is why people accidentally overdose. because of prohibition people hide away to use where nobody will find them if they overdose. and prohibition pushes up the prices so users have to resort to theft and often violence in order to fund the habit. prohibition means suppliers cannot sort their disputes through the usual legal processes and so end up resorting to violence as the only solution open to them. without prohibition all those problems would go away. there would be much less risk of you being violently robbed by a desperate addict and everybodies insurance premiums would go right down. why anybody is in favor of prohibition which is so damaging to society is beyond me.
also just think of all the money saved by the authorities trying to fight the drug problem, less tax dollars spent on law enforcement, prisons, courts and legal costs. all that money could be put to much better use making your community a much nicer richer place to live.
