You are probably mentally deficient if you believe that Milo Yiannopoulos genuinely believes in the views he publicly espouses.
He is so transparently disingenuous it's not even funny. He claims to be a gay Christian or jedi descent. The only part of that I believe is that he's a faggot (not the gay kind) and a jedi, because he's found a great scheme to both influence public opinion and make giant $$$ off it.
Milo understands that edgelords were craving a figure like him. He uses this to make money and cultivate his fame. But somehow both rightards and leftards seem to view him as a genuine right wing activist. -

Advanced Publications/Conde Nast still own plurality shares afaik, but now Reddit supposedly operates as an independent entity.
Of course that doesn't really make sense when you factor in that they make huge losses year on year... So how can they justify their existence? Either someone wants to play a longer game than the past 10 or so years that it's been around, or it's being kept around in order to maintain control over information and deliver particular messages (for example remember the mobilisation to stop SOPA?) -

Why does it matter? All of these big social media sites can moderate however the fuck they want. Just because they're big does not give them some obligation to allow free speech. Not that this was even the issue here. I'm more butthurt over them banning /r/fatpeoplehate but again, their website. -

Originally posted by snab_snib wrong. they got shut down because they upheld a narrative that's 'not acceptable in polite company'. there is no other reason. that is the only reason. if you think otherwise, stop.
If that was the reason then all alt right subs would be banned. They are not. Several large ones, which follow the rules, still exist.
And even if they were trying to suppress alt right views, who cares? They're a private company. Just go to Voat like everyone else, and see how much fun it is when no one is keeping idiots in check. -

This. I used to work at Walmart (worst time of my life) and I saw people steal so much shit it was ridiculous. The amount of niggers with boxes and bags under their giant ass sweatshirts was hilarious.
Did have to bust someone for stealing a vacuum because he did it right in front of me. He didn't get caught though cause he ran. -

People never understand this. Reddit isn't public forum. They can ban everybody who likes Trump if they want to just like Lanny can do whatever he wants to here. -

Originally posted by snab_snib thanks for your opinion. you're missing the significance though.
There is no significance. Reddit is a known libtard site but they banned the sub because it was being used for vote manipulation and doxxing (and subsequently to coordinate "attacks" by LE REDDIT ARMIE LE LE LE). The "alt-right" stuff still exists.
The reason all the big alt-right or racism subs get shut down is because for some reason these retards do not seem to grasp the core concept of how brigading and doxxing isn't allowed. The users of these subs cry "censorship" (on a private platform lol) when mods actually do their job and remove PI and brigading, so inevitably the most populated subs are the ones that allow them to break the rules, which of course leads to the whole sub eventually being shut down when morons start using it as a conduit for PI.
They're not being shut down for hate speech. Subs like /r/WhiteRights actually toe the line, so they don't get shut down but also don't populated because everyone just wants to be left unchecked and as unmoderated as possible. -

Originally posted by Clutch Green strains are more stimulating, reds are more sedating.
But really, a natural drug? Come on, the only way to get high is ingesting unknown chemicals made by pseudo chemists and sold in shady headshops.
Don't buy Crouton from headshops. Don't buy anything from headshops.
This is all bullshit. I've had stimulating whites and sedating whites and the same goes for every other color. I find the location matters more, which really just comes down to the alkaloids produced by plants in a local area, and really only reliable as far as a batch goes. I do find that reds in general are easier for me to get sick off of. Maybe some alkaloids produced as the plant matures or something, I'm not sure. I tend to avoid them for that reason.
