I've told the story in full before. Multiple times. You were around for pretty much the entire thing as well, so I'm surprised you've got the timeline and events so wrong. I was initially going to hitchhike for around a month until I realized I didn't like doing it alone. You mentioned the company of good people. Try being totally alone. I wasn't about to put myself through that in the name of 'adventure.' It's emotionally and physically draining. Especially worrying about where you're going to sleep for the night. I'm glad I had the option to not be forced into that kind of life.
It's still cool though, because I know I have the ability to get anywhere I want with absolutely nothing. It gave me a lot of confidence. Like when I got stuck in Taiwan I wasn't like "FUCK WHAT AM I GONNA DO THE BUSSES STOPPED RUNNING AND I HAVE NO SERVICE" it was just like, the next step in solving my problem. One of my favorite things to do when I'm somewhere new is to get lost and wander now. I fucking LOVE being lost, because that means I get to be active and problem solve and discover new places along the way.

Celebs won't post here because they're used to being seen by many. It would be like any on of US voluntarily posting on a site with 2 people.
