Like 13. I started huffing gasoline because my school was doing a DARE type thing and they said you could get high that way. And they made drugs sound interesting as fuck.
Although huffing gas only really sounds degenerate. I didn't do it that often. I didn't become a full-blown drug abusing degenerate until I found totse and learned about bundy (age 15 or so).

ME2 was pretty bad, and clearly a product of EA buying BioWare and focus testing the shit out it with 15 year old boys. The plot is edgy (I spent ME1 murdering Cerberus, they kidnapped and tortured/experimented one of my former squadmates in my Shep's backstory etc), and even playing Shep as mistrusting of Cerberus it's pretty damn incongruous.
Plus they turned Garrus into a brooding edgelord. Blah. I want to like ME2, but it is pretty shit in some regards. Neat cast of characters, but I legit liked Andromeda better.

Depends on the NEET. On the more dysfunctional end of the spectrum they play video games, watch movies and TV, listen to music, shitpost, etc. On the more functional end of the spectrum, they learn instruments, make music, read, trade crypto, work on passion projects etc.
I am somewhere in between but definitely on the dysfunctional end of things.
