I've never raped anyone, pretended to rape someone or asked someone to pretend to rape me, but my opinion is that these women just want someone to be very rough with them. All they want is a momentary lapse of control, not a persistent feeling of complete helplessness. If they were actually violated, it would traumatize them for life.

One Summer I became adept at inducing the transitional state known as sleep paralysis by using yogic visualization techniques, during which I witnessed a number of concerning phenomena. On a few of these occasions, I also succeeded in producing an out-of-body-experience. Although I could reliably achieve the former and did so on a daily basis for a while, I never did manage to properly orient myself on the 'astral plane'.

I can appreciate a haiku or the many variations on the sonnet, but I prefer to read prose with no predetermined metre or rhyming scheme. Something about crude, asymmetrical, unregulated expression has always appealed to me over work that's more carefully assembled, even by highly adept wordsmiths like Milton. I'd take Bukowski over him any day.
