When I participated in M&A threads there was a widely accepted LEO presence which had the primary goal of collecting data and a secondary motive of unofficially continuing the work of COINTELPRO. Lanny was, of course, their strongest partner among Zoklet leadership and I can only presume their relationship has continued over to this incarnation of Totse. They have no reason to abandon their work here, they're already very invested.

When Lanny opened this site, he wisely sought my counsel on some of the more important matters concerning BBS construction. He was very nervous about being in the spotlight, so he asked me, "Zanick, what do you think I - as a leader - need to provide this community?" So, I told him, "Lanny, seriously, you need the fucking porn forum." He sounded very receptive and I was proud to be advocating for all of you guys but since he's done absolutely nothing since then it seems Lanny really doesn't value good ideas nor does he want the Totse tradition to succeed.

Modafinil is too expensive to use for anything but its intended purpose unless you have a prescription. If you want to take it and have a good time, get some other, cheaper, dirtier chemicals like one of the designer amphetamines that people seem to enjoy lately. It's pretty good for studying and getting shit done, in my experience, only as long as you don't develop a tolerance. But my opinion is that the cost and difficulty associated with acquiring modafinil really prohibit any sort of recreational use.
