A lot of users think the FBI just came to Zoklet to handle coupon guy, but what they don't realize is that was only the beginning. When I participated in M&A threads there was a widely accepted LEO presence which had the primary goal of collecting data and a secondary motive of unofficially continuing the work of COINTELPRO. Lanny was, of course, their strongest partner among Zoklet leadership and I can only presume their relationship has continued over to this incarnation of Totse. They have no reason to abandon their work here, they're already very invested.

Silverfuck's arrest was no coincidence, it was to remind us that our relationship to LEO was one of subordination. They even posted a sick thread in M&A about it to taunt us, we were all pretty scared about what that meant for the community but we knew we couldn't say anything. This is around when Tacho decided the only way to break the cycle of abuse was to manufacture a PI crisis.

There was actually a secret forum on Zoklet which only permitted the admins and a few LEO, where they would discuss various measures to breach the trust of our users. Lanny was provisionally admitted on a PRN basis to do some kind of coding for them to exploit the forum software at various nodes. Though I really don't understand the nature of his work I do know it was instrumental in the arrest of mksnowboarder (and yes, that is why he left). I myself have only ever seen screenshots of the forum (I was the conspiracy mod, after all) but I do know it was real because it was displayed at the top of M&A and described as a 'locked', 'secret forum' where a select few were able to post about subjects classified from ordinary mods.

Ate did confess his involvement to me some time before I became a mod, and disclosed several ways he was attempting to subvert their control of the forum, which I will not repeat here in the open where it can be seen by LEO. I admit, at the time I found it hard to believe. The first thing I did when I was modded, though, was to go back and verify what he said for myself. I looked through every post he made in M&A - scrubbed, all of it. Draw your own conclusions as to why that might've happened because I can't afford to spell it out.

MomentaryLapseOfReason self-professed that he was a fed and had fed friends in high places. Just before he was de-modded and banned, he even threatened to bring down the resources of the feds onto Totse and deleted a bunch of forums and banned a bunch of users, all because he got caught letting a dog lick peanut butter off his asshole "to see what it feels like". It's not like we don't know what the actual situation is. We know. We knew then, and we knew along the way, and we know now.

I infiltrated the Fun Bunch. Once I got onto the staff roster, I quickly set myself up as a mod of all the major forums. Then I had zok boot himself out of those forums as co-mod, so that I had them all to myself. Next, I infiltrated all their private chat rooms, made copies of all their M&A and A&A blabber, compiled a full dossier on each major player, documented everything. Next, I edged zok right off his own BBS. Now, alone, with just I and the Fun Bunch's main characters themselves, it was child's-play to turn one against the other, especially having full control of an additional four mod accounts, able to impersonate and manipulate through PMs and whatnot. At the end, they didn't even know who was real or what was real. The entire time, I was able to easily skate around their feeble attempts at controlling the situation. Then zok made a last ditch effort and perma-banned my account, but that didn't really change anything. It was already too late. Their end was nigh. And then... TTFN... "I've fallen and I can't get up! Sorry, guise, but something BIG has happened and I must depart!" So mysterious and ominous! So The Great Wazzoo sends out a final distress signal and blows hise hatches. No more site. No more Fun Bunch. Exactly as promised. And there you have it. The End.
