2018-03-14 at 4:07 AM UTC in How do you groom yourself?Seriously, guys. It's a minuscule investment, given the consequences of not moisturizing. You'll thank yourself for decades while you watch your peers shrivel and prune.

2018-03-14 at 3:59 AM UTC in How do you groom yourself?I cut my own hair because I haven't found a barber who can handle me. I like it short, and a little longer on top where my natural curls which I HATE like to accumulate because objectively it looks better on my head than how I would prefer it. I shave my neck close, and I keep my beard short and neat. I leave my chest hair alone, it's appropriate the way it is. Everything below there is trimmed short. I believe all men should moisturize while they're young, and I live by this rule.

2018-03-14 at 3:49 AM UTC in The Retardest Thread: Fashionably Late Edition.I'm not natively good with formal logic, but I've found it becomes more intuitive when you apply it in later courses. Unless you're at an upper-tier school with an established philosophy department, I think that securing independent study credits wherever possible gets the most out of a philosophy degree. Too many universities don't emphasize the subject enough, and might not have diverse course offerings or challenging curricula.

2018-03-14 at 2:59 AM UTC in Nootropics you're takingYeah, I didn't intend for it to happen like this. This is probably the weirdest point in my life thus far. I'm going through stressors that unfortunately have driven me to seek out performance-enhancing substances, but I do feel a measurable gain from this regimen.

Seeing as you probably haven't taken anything but GE courses at this point I'd suggest suspending judgement on what is and isn't fulfilling.
This, for sure. Malice, you're going to find some skills you didn't know you had that seem contrary to the agenda you've laid out for yourself. Try not to narrow your expectations. -

2018-03-14 at 2:25 AM UTC in Nootropics you're takingList 'em, niggas.
20mg memantine, taking half in the morning and half at night
~25g piracetam, spread out over three to four doses over 24 hours
500-1000mg phenylpiracetam, three times weekly or as needed
75-100mg fasoracetam, three times weekly as needed for GABA upregulation and phenibut tolerance
300mg beta gpc, split into two doses
300mg l-theanine, split into two doses
100-200mg modafinil, twice weekly
1-1.5g phenibut, twice weekly
I also have a teaspoon each of raw maca root powder and matcha green tea daily, plus an unhealthy volume of espresso. Of this list, I have shared only the piracetam with my doctor, who was both perplexed and concerned. I won’t mention it to him again.
As for mental hygiene and non-nootropic habits: I sleep, on average, eight hours a night, and I take in plenty of water. I have a Fitbit, which constantly directs me toward several minor fitness goals, both short-term and long. I vaporize weed several times daily and I drink a lot more wine than I should, although I’m cutting back on the latter. I consume 90% of my nutrients in two to three servings of my own blended, high-protein shakes. -

this is clearly a subnigger we're dealing with. not even a subhuman
When properly medicated, some people who struggle with entry-level college courses will find themselves succeeding in upper-level coursework far beyond what their peers produce. Others will discover they are painfully average, and pursue opportunities that make them more rounded and marketable. Others still, will not be able to overcome those difficulties and will inevitably drop out. I believe Malice's case could be the first of these. -

His overall literacy, coupled with a strong economy of language and concepts that I have observed over the years, suggests to me that he is capable of more than he allows himself to admit here. With the right support, I think that he can do great things. -

Originally posted by Malice I'm thinking about changing majors and trying to get into investment banking. I really just want more money, and my divergent thinking and other autistic powers could make me a force to be reckoned with. You're in the financial sector, Lanny, what's your opinion on this?
To be honest, computer programming for the financial sector seems like pretty unfulfilling, tedious, monotonous, soul crushing work; at least when it goes on for years, let alone decades.
I'm also planning on claiming I'm transgender to increase my chances of getting into a good college. I'll go as far as to cross dress, wearing makeup and a wig, as well as lying to a therapist/psychologist if I have to. After I get in I'll just drop the act. "Oh, it turns out I may not have been transgender after all! I may simply be gender fluid and I'm currently going through a masculine phase."
You should set up a meeting with your school counselor and the department chair for your major. They can help you figure out the best moves to land a stellar job in the financial sector upon graduation. It would really just take one good, relatively normal conversation for the faculty at your school to recognize that you possess unusual intellectual gifts, Malice. But don't mention autistic powers, that kind of thing makes neurotypicals uncomfortable. -

2018-03-13 at 11:52 PM UTC in Guitar players - resistance bands? So I stopped by my local small guitar shop this past weekend, and I asked them if they still carried the resistance bands I bought from them ~7 years ago. If you don't know what a resistance band is, it's essentially a strip of rubber that loops around your fingers - just above the knuckle - to make it harder for you to maneuver on the fretboard. It's nothing revolutionary, but it did help me cultivate better finger dexterity when I would practice scales.
I recommend picking some up if you're trying to become faster and more refined in your playing. They probably wouldn't be too difficult to make, if you're DIY inclined. Sadly, the company which produced mine is going out of business, so you may want to jump on it fast if you intend to buy them.

Although I noticed Leopoldo or whatever said literally today. I found that suspect.
You'd be surprised how common this is and how far we let it go. Some of our most prominent members were once believed to be women. I like to think that a few of our actual great members were, as well. -

To be fair, a complete graphic of alts and originals on Totse/Zoklet/Niggas would likely make you dizzy. Just a few years ago, this variety of suspicion was heralded as proactive administrating. -
