Then you had people trying to flash a different bios to it to use teh darkwebz and all. It became a meme, like I've seen the Thinkpad logo in memes but idk what all is behind it.
Anyway, I had a Thinkpad. I liked the design more than modern laptops with the screen glued together and a soldered in SSD. But I was always suspicious of the whole thing. People talk about Intel and all this but I thought China used Lenovos with Intel processors. If Intel is good enough for Russia and China to use in space or launch nukes at Washington or whatever it seems like I can trust it too.
