What numerical bar? The page selector? There's up to 19 click targets involved in the desktop design, on small screens you can't fit 19 tap targets next to each other and be able to reliably hit them all which is why you're limited to the first/prev/next/last layout on mobile

One of the dirtiest parts of the body, frequently smell unpleasant, wierd alien morphology which is only a twisted analogy to the more familiar hands, formed in such a way that makes the space between toes difficult to clean relative the the form of the hand and likely home to a ton of bacteria. Hardware support is pretty good in 2018, at least commodity hardware. some gay 80 function gaymen mouse/dildo might not work but then you're a scrub if you use that anyway.
If "normal people" wanting to use something means never editing a text file, never opening a terminal, and never building from source then traditional linux systems are not for "normal people". Some distros are fairly successful in trying to paint over this but I'm pretty skeptical of the value in trying to ape the dominant proprietary paradigm. The text based shell is not some vestigial feature that's meant to be hidden behind layers of skeuomorphic menus, it has both philosophical and practical design advantages. You might think no mere mortal could ever learn how to use it but is it really all that more complex than memorizing contemporary (and wildly inconsistent) iconography or keyboard shortcuts? I'd argue it's much simpler, although there are certainly discoverability issues. As long as people learn to use WIMP descended interface families the CLI is always going to look either incomprehensible or like a paradigm shift, but the reality is that it's little more than a cultural bias.

Sure, most of my day I feel like I'm a totally autonomous free agent. Trained dogs probably have no perception that they're domesticated. Doing a NAS Build
Had to take the drive rack out to be able to get stuff in there. I'm used to full tower builds so it felt a lot more cramped. Hooking everything up to the motherboard was a bitch and I started wishing I did it before putting the thing in the case before long

This used to be a huge pain in the ass with putting what felt like wayyyy too much pressure on the heatsink to get it to pop in, my last build it was better so I figured we'd gotten past it but no, the AM4 bracketed layout is back to leaning on the mobo until I felt like it was going to break into little pieces.
