How much did you take? IIRC the opioidergic effects weren't found to be significant up to a certain threshold, around 100 or 120mg or so, but that may have been based on tests done on rats with the dosage not properly converted, so I'm not sure.
It prevents respiratory depression, you should try it again if you still have it, go for broke.
It was a while ago so I don't really remember, not that much although I remember the effects being about the same as oral administration at the same dose. I would imagine the recreational effects wouldn't be any stronger when smoked if nothing else is. But again, this was sodium so it might be different for OP -

2015-09-09 at 5:17 AM UTC in The Sleep of ReasonYou niggas ever seen this etching?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sl...duces_Monsters
it was on the cover the textbook for this ethics course I took once. Was a good course, I think more people should take ethics or read about it, even if you don't buy into any part of academic moral philosophy it's hard to argue that between the academy and the church the market on coherent ethical discourse hasn't been cornered. Anyway, I always thought this was a great cover. Like the obvious interpretation is like "be careful young blood, if you don't check yo six now and then you gonna get got" where "get got" means do something atrocious. But I think it's a good metaphor for the practice of ethics in general, the etching kinda captures what it feels like to engage with foundational issues in ethics. You're the nigga sitting there being like "shut the fuck up, I just wanna eat, drink, get my dick wet and die" but then you or some part of you or something be all like "no no no motherfucker, yall niggas don't get off that easily". Them owls be like "there be an existential issue here and ima peck on yo sleepy ass til you do something bout it". We educate our youth with these tools like logic and harass them into reading the classics and such and then dump them into a society where it's like "yeah, fuck that" and you spend your whole life jamming with yo otha niggas but these fucking owl cunts be like "dis some shameful shit right here son" and man it fucking blows.
It's also a metaphor for dissociatives. Like you take some drugs and them lay down and then some owls hop out yo back and be all like "yeee lil nigga, just rest, we gonna go fuck some shit uuuuuuppppp" except that sleeping nigga aint asleep or dead or whatever, he just be in lockup and you and the boys be runnin dem streets but then when OG reason gets back he be commin back wit a chopper and nigga yall feathery niggas best watch you ass except instead of like badass street justice there's just shame. -
2015-09-09 at 4:46 AM UTC in What are you on?
Sober 98 days :^) Half-considering taking a few rolls at a rave this Saturday. I think I'll pass considering I'm off probation next month and don't want to fuck it up when I'm 90% done with it. Need to celebrate when I'm finally off though. Probably try to find some coke and get on it with some old friends I've been avoiding in my quest for sobriety.
Gratz blood. I've only known one guy who was really fucking up his life with drugs and got sober but he basically cut contact with everyone he used to know and won't have a glass of wine with dinner and stuff like that. How common is it for people with a dependency to get sober and then go back to like light or moderate use? In the movies and stuff it's like as soon as someone drinks a beer they end up in a crackhouse selling their firstborn within the hour or something like that which seems a bit far fetched. But then some people seem to take it seriously so IDK -

2015-09-09 at 4:18 AM UTC in Any coolc urrent programming projects you're working on?Working on a programming language, a lisp, may have posted about it before. It's implemented in javascript and is supposed to have very strong interop, the main focus is to give a better literal syntax for DOM manipulation and semantics for passive DOM state assertion/guarantees (I can go into more detail about this but it might be tedious without the context of making front-end systems at some scale). At the moment it's implemented as an interpreter and requires the full compilation pipeline to be loaded client-side to run. I've implemented a few of the special forms in a compiler as a proof of concept but I don't think I'll ever have time to bring the compiler up to feature parity with the interpreter and there are some language features (destructuring comes to mind, but even the module system poses problems) that I'm not sure how I would implement in a compiler (the compiler is very literal at the moment).
The other project I'm working on is a computer implementation of the board game Yinch. Right now I'm just working through the logic of enforcing the rules and such but I'm working hard to decouple the presentation/input logic from the game logic because I want to make a fancy WebGL interface after I finish the rules and the super basic 2d presentation layer I have going now. -
2015-09-09 at 3:01 AM UTC in Anyone try smoking T-PAIN?I tried smoking the sodium form or whatever, not a significant difference from taking it orally for me. LLL, famous for shooting the stuff and calling it better than heroin, says smoking it was similar to shooting it so IDK. I could have just undershot on the dosage or something. Didn't particularly fuck my lungs up but you can definitely taste it.

Magnificent data. Leftist, and statism in general, are self-destructing systems. A race realist anti-immigration/nationalist form of leftism? It will never occur, you should know how far those views are from that of the vast majority of self-described leftists, what the reaction to expounding them would be.
It's very unfortunate, the main creators of modern civilization, the greatest all around civilizations there are (East Asia has horrendous cultural issues), will destroy themselves due to their own pathological drives.
It's hard for me to imagine you were actually serious when you posted this. When will anti-statists give up their petty trolling? It just makes it that much clearer how profoundly they fail to understand their own position. -

2015-09-06 at 6:58 PM UTC in WHYI have no idea what's going on in this thread but I want to say that UBB was and is shit software. Flatfile is simply inferior in every way, even to the databases that existed when UBB was written, it was simply the way things were because the author didn't know how to write better software. I mean I'll agree vB5 is bretty shitty but UBB is like student level programming.
Also I can't wait to start having flashbacks. It's like a free second round of acid, who would say no to that? -

do you have to put in a lot to get much out of it? i just built a pc finally after like 4 years of being relegated to shitty imac so ive been playing cs go again but with school and shit i dont have that much time to game for like hours everyday. but that would be cool to play.
anyone play cs go?
KF1 is a game that you really play for the end game and takes a lot of time/concerted effort to get good at. KF2 either fixes or breaks that (so far, still in beta and rebalancing happens periodically) depending on how you look at things. Both games have classes but in 1 good players can play "off-perk" (not using their class's benefits) without much trouble so the classes are mostly training wheels, the core elements of gameplay like tactics, maneuvering, weapons handling, and simple twitch were how you got better. KF2s classes are more meaningful in that you can't really play off-perk and even good players can't really jump into higher difficulties with a low level class. It feels a bit like dumbing it down but the upshot is that you don't need lightning reflexes to be useful, the lower difficulties feel more like the higher difficulties (in the sense that the best gameplay is accessible to more than just the best ~20% of the playerbase or whatever), and since a single good player can't manage a whole round anymore because of less ammo and more sponginess there's less assholeness towards beginners where the good players break and kite while the novices get toasted.

2015-09-05 at 4:45 AM UTC in Killing Floor / Killing Floor 2Anyone play? I started KF1 ages after it released but got hooked and put in some crazy hours with it, I won't say I was the best of the best but I could hack it on suicidal well enough. I got busy and stopped playing KF1 regularly for a while but when 2 came out (I guess it's still technically in beta) I snapped it up in a heartbeat. Been playing irregularly since, my support is 12 and fb at 6 so I have a feel for the game but still getting used to the finer differences (like movement speed being basically worthless relative to 1).
I've played 1 with at least two people from this community but I think they've fallen off in the migrations. Anyway, if anyone plays we should do a few rounds some time, most players in 2 are shitty about teamplay so it'd be good to play with a nigga who isn't retarded and will stand and deliver instead of breaking at exactly the wrong time. -

The toolbox killers.
"For those of you commenting on Bittaker's IQ, yes his IQ was 138. No it's not the highest of all serial killers. When Bittaker was arrested in 1979 he was working as a machinist making airplane parts. Bittaker dropped out of high school. But in 1979 he was making $1,000-a-week. That's around $5,000 in today's money. This guy seriously could have done anything he wanted. But his one and only goal was to torture and murder innocent girls. These documentaries don't always elaborate on the length of time these girls were held. These torture/rape sessions didn't last a couple of hours. Some of these girls were held for days, tortured non-stop. The 5th victim Lynette Ledford, the one who is on the audio tape, was physically destroyed. Norris wasn't even able to commit his rape because Bittaker inserted his pliers inside her vaginal and anal cavities and literally ripped her apart. He was doing that on the audio tape. I've never heard a human being scream in pain like I heard on that tape. For those who want to hear it, TRUST ME, you DON'T. I'm not squeamish, I've seen some terrible things. I've seen some of Maury Travis' videos of his murders. But the Ledford tape is in a category all its own. I wish I never heard it. Of the 25 students in my criminology class only 3 of us stayed in the room. Many dropped the class. Others vomited. It's 18 minutes of the most unbelievably brutal acts imaginable. I don't have many regrets in my life. But I seriously regret listening to that tape. I wish I could get it out of my head. No matter how I try to describe the tape it's not really possible. The fact that a human being did this to another is too much. Bittaker not only LOVED what he did, he listened to the tape constantly and even let neighborhood kids hear it. They reportedly thought it was fake. That's what gets you, that it sounds like a fake "Hollywood" actress screaming. But it's real. It makes perfect sense that the FBI uses the tape to train new agents. It's the most heartbreaking thing I've ever experienced. I don't cry often but I don't mind saying I cried like a baby, almost uncontrollably. It's not an experience I'd wish on anyone. I bet Bittaker would enjoy hearing that this tape has caused 35 years of sadness and pain to anyone who hears it. If anyone on Earth deserves the death penalty it's Bittaker. The only problem would be that he could only die once. There is a special place reserved for him in hell."
I want to hear this.
Bet it would be some boring shit. Sounds like a some twobit criminology professor being melodramatic in an interview. I don't think there exists gore footage (and much less audio) that can shock most of us any more, but this is probably just some back seat detective who couldn't hack it for real who accidentally stumbled into something a bit off the beaten track. Once you get the taste for it nothing can _really_ shock you anymore and this guy clearly hasn't gotten that far.
Have you ever listened to Buyer's Market by Peter Sotos? Not nearly as visceral as what you find on r/watchpeopledie or whatever but it's in the same genre of general voyeurism. Interviews with rape victims mostly, the interviewers make it interesting. Some people take it as a political statement for "victims rights" or whatever but Sotos has said it isn't and I think it's just the documentary feel combined with the discomfort it evokes in most people that make them say that. I think that's the more artistically interesting part of it, it's really just presented to us as a simple statement of fact (that's the tone of the interviewees but also just the composition, mixing, everything, it's just giving us what's there) and the way people react to that is fascinating. Similar to how people feel when watching and react to Eraserhead. Almost everyone feels the need to give it a spin, to say this is good or bad or take an interest in the lives of the subjects or whatever or at least the pull to do that in contrast with the matter of fact nature of the recording and the anonymity (not all the interviewees are but you don't know who they are when you listen to it) of the subject and their functional non-existence in your world.http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=2ae_1378829009
Wow, real life nightcrawlers?
Conspiracy theory: the cops really did fuck the guy up, he starts making noise to the press, the cops set the nigga on fire to shut him up and put the two journalists who were listening to him caught this on film so the cops are hunting them down to cover their own asses. -
2015-09-05 at 3:13 AM UTC in Ellie Goulding + MATH
Where is the math nigga?
The plucked guitar at the start of each stanza, the verbed chords, that mildly twangy guitar that's that's low-mixed in the chorus, and the hard-stop percussion are all elements of second/third wave mathrock.
Spare me the lecture about the misappropriation of the term "math". I eat, breathe, and live formal systems.that songwriting is atrocious.
for example:
'Regenerate. I’m entitled to face to face, at right angles-
Our lips to trace by lit candles.
Get out this place- you’ll dismantle.
Negotiate what you can’t handle. '
It just gets worse from there.
Sure, the songwriting is pretty weak but then so is Ellie Goulding's and mathy genres are purely instrumental as often they aren't so I don't know what you were expecting. -

Also holy niggerdick, I thought I had seen most the content as I approached the end of hadcore. I fucking love that games like this exist, gives me faith in the shitty industry that is game dev, that there are still people who give enough of a shit to make a game where like 60% of the players will never see even half the content.
Do you have a preference between wikis? I noticed there are two and quality of content seems variable but I never really notice which I'm on so I assume one is just shittier than the other.
