2018-05-09 at 10:09 AM UTCTBM intercepted over Riyadh. Several ground explosions reported but no officially confirmed hits, Yemeni military stated they fired a salvo at industrial areas.
As expected, KSA is blaming Iran. -
2018-05-09 at 10:12 AM UTCIran is apparently burning the stars and stripes.
This will surely piss off trump to the extent that actions will be taken -

2018-05-09 at 10:19 AM UTCApparently israel's attempted to attack Kisweh from Lebanese airspace again, but their missiles were intercepted. I haven't been able to work out what they were attacking so far.

2018-05-09 at 10:20 AM UTCI suspect iran will start to develop nukes soon and they are probably insane enough to use em.

They've stated that they'll continue to honor the agreement as long as the other parties do, but I suspect the EU will continue to uphold the unilateral sanctions put forward by the US.
I'm not certain Iran is even interested in nuclear weapons - I don't see their development significantly enhancing their standing or defence, and in a practical sense conventional and chemical weapons would serve just as well in any forseeable use-case -

Iran's a signatory to the CWC but as far as I know they're not forced into inspections or anything so it's entirely plausible they maintain a stockpile... Many of the countries in the CWC don't officially manufacture or stockpile but still actively research chemical/biological agents -
2018-05-09 at 11:54 AM UTCTime to find a nice wire fence to hold on to.

2018-05-09 at 5:05 PM UTClol, for some reason that reminds me of DIME weapons, interesting stuff.
US has applied additional sanctions to China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Turkey, the UAE, Egypt, Lebanon and Syria on the basis of their transfer of goods and tech to Iran that could ostensibly be used for military purposes. Skimming over the list, this time entire military and structures have been added to the usual companies, including the Russian GRU and the Iranian IRGC.
Amusingly enough Erdogan (Turkey) was one of the first to respond, essentially saying he does not care because the current world order is almost over. -
2018-05-09 at 6:11 PM UTCanyone else think its pretty fucking retarded that they ban bio and chemical weapons but not nuclear? lol

Modern chemical weapons are in most cases more (tactically) useful than nuclear and just as useful as a MAD deterrent - I figure the reason they're so stigmatised is because they're easy to make so within the grasp of non-nuclear countries; the stigma is imposed to disarm them -

2018-05-10 at 12:58 AM UTCHezbullah and Israel exchanging missiles over the Golan. Israel's claiming 'Iranian proxies shot first', Hezbullah states they returned fire due to the recent Israeli air attack:

sources seem to indicate ~40 MLRS have been fired at the occupied Golan, some intercepted. More info when I can find/verify it -
