Very likely, probably won't be very civil though.

Apparently Russia now sells inflatable replicas of their SAM complexes so they can be placed randomly to confuse spotters and satellite/aerial photography. I'm imagining an S-400 themed bounce castle

Mohammed Alloush, the head of Jaysh Al-Islam recently 'resigned'.

And by resigned I mean he disappeared with almost $50m of their funds, lol.

JAI is one of the bigger (and worse) 'rebel' groups in Syria, so I don't feel too bad for them.

As for him, he can afford the luxury model now

US is going to resurrect north atlantic fleet command, coming online in july. to counter russia.

"NATO is refocusing on the Atlantic in recognition of the great power competition prompted by a resurgent Russia," Pentagon spokesman Johnny Michael told CNN.

The Trump administration's new national defense strategy prioritized countering Russia and China and a US Navy official told CNN that, "the return to great power competition demands that we focus on the Atlantic."

im no "murica fuck yea" type but russia has one aircraft carrier and it has a fucking ramp

    >a
    >fucking
    >ramp

also i think people vastly overestimate their demoralized conscript army. read up on the hazing, what little gets out is pretty insane, makes the ol blanket party look like a sensitivity conference. this isn't to say that they aren't the 2nd most powerful single nation on earth by a good bit but man they wouldn't have a chance. they have a core of elite volunteers like us but the meat and potatoes are gopnik/central asian conscript retards who loathe their commanders.

Can't disagree with the second part, but aircraft carriers are worthless for anything except harassing brown people who can't shoot back. Surface fleets in general have been made useless in a peer-conflict thanks to modern missile tech like the Chinese DF21 and Russian KINZHAL

Actually, I think you underestimate the nationalistic fervour that's been building over the last decade or so. Will write some more later

Judging by Nasrallah's latest address, it looks like Hezbullah (under coalition) is in. Prepare for fireworks...

Looks like Trump is not only going to renege on the JCPOA but also push for more sanctions on Iran... It'll be interesting to see what happens - the only party unhappy with the agreement as it stands is israel (and by proxy, the US), largely because it was never designed to permanently stop Iran from funding nuclear (power or otherwise) research.

It's likely the EU will simply follow his lead, but there has to come a time when they realise there's no benefit for them here and US/israeli foreign policy considers the EU expendable.

Due to the sanctions against Russia for retaking Crimea after the coup in the Ukraine, the EU as a unit has lost over $80 billion USD (while costing Russia half that at most - it's unverified because the Russian market losses from sanctions and concurrent manipulation of oil prices cannot be disentangled) and will never be able to recover their agricultural and foodstuff market share due to Russia filling the void with domestic produce.

It's exactly the same situation with the incessant attempts to block or otherwise interfere with Russian gas deliveries to Europe (again the coup in Ukraine, the new government's nonpayment, theft and siphoning, as well as interference with NORD STREAM's construction) - the US forces the EU to try to dislodge Russia and Iran from the market in favour of their own supplies, but the only delivery method they have is sea transit which translates to almost double the gas price for the buyer.

I guess it doesn't matter to career politicians as long as they get paid and feel important, but the entire country (or bloc in this case) suffers for it.

it wont matter to most europeans either.

they prefer higher prices for oils. they would strap on some bs carbon taxes anyway if oils and gases are cheap due to their environmental faggotry and cuckism.

    Oh boy.

US has pulled out of JCPOA, promised further unilateral sanctions.

Israel has put the occupied Golan on high alert due to 'irregular behaviour of Iranian and Hezbullah forces in Syria' preceding the announcement.

Trump does not have the mental capacity to deal with issues.

Trump's abandoning of the nuclear deal was a diplomatic show… Iran has no obligation to honour its commitments under the current situation.

It is obvious that Trump only understands the language of force.
