Yes, there is no cure. Just keep catering to yourself in life and you'll be fine.
Also, some of us are special types of people. We know we're very different. Not just in some typical way, but in a way that make us unique within the small percentile group we're in. Maybe not in a way that most would consider 'good'. -
2017-12-28 at 6:37 PM UTC in Am I a malignant narcissist, a sociopath, or an antisocial disorder person? From my understanding, a sociopath, psychopath, and ASPD, are all the same.
A socio/psycho is someone with ASPD. A narcissist is a type of person with ASPD. There are two types of narcissists. -
2017-12-28 at 7:37 AM UTC in Gift Card Switch On CashierFinal answer...
Go into the store, shoplift a bunch of the $20-$500 gift cards. Go home and rip them all open and record the number on each card that the cashier would scan when activating.
Make a barcode that exploits the register, causing it to not only enter the amount of $500 for each card, but to also total out the transaction using the 'CASH' option. Then tell the cashier that you have no money and need to leave for an emergency. Then go spend the money on the cards.
First one would need to buy a cash register to begin fuzzing...

2017-12-28 at 6:58 AM UTC in Should I install Linux on my Trident 3?Well, the problem is, Windows wont boot for some reason, and I don't know enough about Windows to get it running. It's a brand new system, so I found it strange that it wouldn't boot.
So I bought a 500GB HD, put inside the Trident, and installed Ubuntu. After installing the recommended Nvidia drivers, I got stuck in a login loop. So I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers and now I'm back in.
I do have a problem with the screen not fitting as well and I've played with the settings on my television as well as display settings in Ubunutu. The whole screen is slightly to big. -

No. I feel good. But I feel different than I use to feel, and I didn't feel that bad then. I feel like I'm a different species. Its almost like a shroom trip. No drugs though. -

2017-12-26 at 6:48 AM UTC in Psychological StatesAs you get older, does your mindset change? Like your desires and the way you view the world. I'm talking about something that is like a 3rd person view. Almost like watching a television show. Having weird reoccurring thoughts that have a lot of meaning, very deep emotional meaning, but that you can't remember ever happening or why your even having them.

2017-12-26 at 12:20 AM UTC in Gift Card Switch On CashierThis whole thing would work but it'd require getting the cashier to press the final cash button before giving him/her the cash.
This is exactly how the procedure went when I was in retail and got put on a register...
1. Ring up items
2. Press 'TOTAL' button to calculate the total amount
3. Take cash in hand and add up
4. Press 'CASH' button
5. Enter in the amount of cash I was given
6. Press 'CASH' button again
...At this point the drawer opens and the register displays the amount of change to give the customer. This is also when the card is activated.
7. Put cash in pocket and give customer change.
8. Close drawer which returns register for next transaction.
Somehow the cashier would need to be tricked into pressing that cash button. Maybe as soon as the cashier presses the button, say while looking at phone "Oh NO! My husband already bought the gift cards! Can I cancel the transaction since you still have the cash out?"
The gift cards being the cashiers possession isn't a problem in my scenario, I have that covered.
It's only getting the cashier to actually process the transaction... -

That's not content between angle braces getting removed. Your thread title is just hella long, if it runs more than one line it gets truncated in thread lists.
Oh...I thought the six dots meant it was getting modified.
Looks like its a happy Festivus for all of us. -

2017-12-24 at 4:03 AM UTC in Should I install Linux on my Trident 3?I got a MSI Trident 3 with Oculus Rift but Windows is kind of shitty. I'm considering getting a SSD for it and installing Linux(I'm thinking Steam OS) but when I search the nets, I can't really find anyone that has done this.
What would you suggest? -

Maybe those cards are activated upon scanning the back...OH shit, I think I know what it is!...
Alright, so if everything has been scanned, and it's time to pay, if someone says that they are paying with cash, I would press the cash button which would not only complete the transaction but it would also activate the card. So if someone said, "I'm paying with cash." and then I pressed that button, the cards would be activated. If that person then said, "I have no cash." and walked away, I'd have to call a manager to deal with the whole transaction, including the card. If that card went missing(like from a switch) then the funds could be spent.
Now lets come up with some clever ways to pull this off...
Edit: I think I have something that would work and would be crazy if did...
