2016-05-22 at 2:18 AM UTC in How do you fancy my new distro?
Neat tool btw PenQ itÅ› a browser based pentesting framework. I switched permanently from windows. Only thing i miss thus far is Notepad++
Try Sublime Text 2. You can use a hex editing program and get the full version. I like it better than NotePad++.
I see it uses OWASP ZAP, which is what I've been using lately(rather than BurpSuite). I may give it a try. -

2016-05-07 at 4:16 PM UTC in Building a 3D PrinterI came across a few pages that show how people have created their own 3D pens and their own 3D printers(although the printers are usually made from brand name 3D pens).

I currently work two jobs, but I've going to drop the retail one after I use up my sick time, and then I should have enough time to start a project. My other job is in a metal shop and I now know how to use a plasma cutter(which robotically cuts large sheets of metal), mill/lathe, spot weld, and somewhat inline weld. I can also use the tools in this shop for my own personal projects.
My plan is to make a 3D printer with a print area of 3'x3'x3', or maybe even larger. I haven't been keeping up with my embedded programming learning, but I think a large project would be good for me.
Edit: Do you think that 3 cubic feet is enough to turn profit out of this project once it's finished, or should I aim for like 6'x6'x6'?
What do you all think about this plan? -

2016-05-07 at 3:58 PM UTC in $60 Boost Mobile Unlimited PlanIt appears as if the Boost Mobile $60 unlimited plan is truly unthrottled "high speeds". It's LTE, so it's not the fastest, but it works. $60 doesn't seem to bad(to me) for a cellular phone line, and a mobile hot spot. These can also(currently, although it looks like California is setting in a new law) be bought with cash and no identification/verification required. So they make a nice little anonymous internet connection. Some of the phones I've seen stores selling on the Boost Mobile network(which is Sprint) have phones as little as $10 and there is a $10 rebate that you get on the spot when you buy one and set up an account, so the phone is free.
So basically if you want an anonymous internet connection, pay a total of $60 for the monthly service, get the phone for free, use TOR or whatever you choose, then after a month passes by, repeat the whole process. You can scrap certain parts from the phone and toss the rest in some public trash can.
Are there any better options besides public WIFI? -

I don't know who fails harder, the OP or this site's "Administrator." Probably the latter since he supposedly gets paid for this level of competency.
I'm almost certain Lanny isn't making any money off of this site. -

2016-04-19 at 9:09 PM UTC in Multi threading in python. And a question about code injection.Well, I obviously don't know shit about Python. I had thought it was always ran within it's own enviorment, like how Java is ran in the JRE.

2016-04-19 at 7:24 PM UTC in Multi threading in python. And a question about code injection.I'm not a Python programmer, but isn't Python ran inside of a sandbox enviornment like Java? If so, I think it's going to run a bit slow either way. You may want to convert everthing to C/C++ if it's not to late. If it's not ran in a sandbox enviornment, disregard.

2016-04-17 at 5:46 PM UTC in Where do u guys buy your bitcoin?Fake ID seems like your best bet. Or something like ngalo said.
Couldn't you buy a Vanilla Visa with cash, register the Zip Code online, and then use an online Bitcoin site the buy Bitcoin? I've never bought Bitcoin, but it seems like you'd be best of selling something for Bitcoin rather than paying cash for them.
Also, do these Bitcoin ATM also dispense cash for Bitcoin, or are they just for buying? -

2016-04-16 at 4:20 AM UTC in I'm working on a EMV/tokenization projectEMV is high security as long as they are using a dynamic system. It's not an easy task to extract the private key on the card.
With Apply-Pay, doesn't Apple create a quick online digital debit card with the exact amount of the transaction, and then send that card to the customer's phone so that they can pay with it(meaning the card that has no funds on it after the transaction, is the one that gets skimmed)? Or is this a different type of payment system(like Google-Pay or something)? -
2016-04-16 at 4:11 AM UTC in Ever wanted to have a pocket pentesting platform but don't have a Nexus phone?I read about this a while back and although it seemed cool, putting a full LInux distro onto a smart phone seems like to much. Unless you SSH into it or attach a keyboard via USB OTG, typing in all of those commands is going to be a bitch.

2016-04-16 at 4:08 AM UTC in java.text.SimpleDateFormat Injection Possible?
Also nothing screams shitty indian programmer like
try {
...
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
Every time I see this in production code I want to slap a bitch.
Normally I would do something else within a catch clause, but this is just a quick program I made specifically for this task/question. I'm the biggest indian.Also no one is talking about injecting executables, SBT wants to inject a string into a part of a function. Where the end goal would be to get the program to do what you want it to do.
Exactly.
Looks like I'll have to look through the source a bit more...
