2017-04-19 at 7:59 AM UTC in Want to be an accesory to cyber crime? (WiFi shenanigans)The problem is that people these days usually know to use long passwords with numbers injected into them. You're really just searching for that one person that doesn't know.
I've never really gotten into Wi-Fi hacking but I'd suggest using a few good wordlists on a bunch of "hand shakes"(is this what they're called?) rather than modifying your wordless hundreds of times on the same one. -
2017-04-19 at 7:50 AM UTC in I need some help from you fine peopleAs aldra said it's your auto complete option. You should have the ability to choose what you want and what you don't want.
I'd also suggest using multiple browsers, each for it's own purpose. -

2017-04-06 at 7:01 PM UTC in Its never enoughSounds like you need to press the Overview button(the third button, not home, and not back) on your phone and close some of your apps. Also, are you rooted? You may have some bloatware that's making connections and using up your data as well as slowing down your phone.
As I said in another thread, you can do all of that on a phone(cable, phone, and internet) for much less. $150 is way to much IMO. Unless you're in need of high speed data for online gaming. -

2017-04-06 at 6:44 PM UTC in beating the technology jediPrepaid Phone > Root > Tether(Boost Mobile doesn't require Root for tethering though)
I pay like $55 a month for phone and internet and then I just download all of the things I like to watch. Also, to keep my prepaid speeds decent(although it's usually shit) I try to use as much free wifi as possible for large downloads.
How far are you from any type of free Wifi? You may want to make a solar powered repeater to spread the signal your way, but you'd have to find a spot to place it where it wouldn't get stolen. I've never made one though. -

2017-04-04 at 6:20 AM UTC in What's this hash?So this is just some entry with a SQL database? It could be anything.
Does it ever change at anytime or is it static? Is something that each user/account has(assuming)? If you see multiple entries, are they all the same length?
/+= Seem to be the only non beta-numeric characters.

2017-04-04 at 6:09 AM UTC in Anyone here ever build Linux From Scratch(LFS)?I've never done it, but I have patched and compiled the kernel for a device. I've looked into building ROMs for Android but never got around to it.
I did get my rPi Zero though and haven't really done anything with it... -

2017-03-31 at 2:39 PM UTC in Using unused connector to add an internal USB port inside my laptop
Originally posted by Captain Falcon I was wondering how you'll fit anything in a laptop. That explains it. What are you planning to use the internal USB ports for? Will you cut out space for the fan? You could actually fuck the thermals up a lot, be warned.
I want to put in another NIC, a 32GB drive, and the fan. -
2017-03-31 at 5:51 AM UTC in DNSmasq Captive PortalIs this command...
awk 'BEGIN { FS="\t"; } { system("$IPTABLES -t mangle -A internet -m mac --mac-source "$4" -j RETURN"); }' /var/lib/users
...opening '/var/lib/users', using tab as a file separator, grabbing the 4th item that's been separated, and iterating through the file running this command for each line? -
2017-03-31 at 2:18 AM UTC in Using unused connector to add an internal USB port inside my laptop
Originally posted by aldra yeah if it was originally for an optical drive chances are that's a SATA port; you can get 5v off it but it's not going to work with USB.
This I could actually use. I think I'm going to add another fan in there.
Originally posted by aldra (bulky though, doubt it'll fit in a modern laptop)
I have a ton of room due to no disk drive. There's this giant area, but it does have plastic pieces lined up going each way. I think these will help mount things in there. -
2017-03-31 at 1:03 AM UTC in Using unused connector to add an internal USB port inside my laptopI came up with a better plan. I'm going to desolder the connectors to one of my external USB ports, then I'm going to rewire them to a USB hub, and then rewire one of the ports from that USB hub back to the external USB port. That way I'll have a few extra USB ports inside of my laptop.
