2017-05-12 at 2:42 AM UTC in Sadistic Sociopaths Make Me SickI think he does it because he has no friends and no family. He has to release somewhere. His problems likely circle his head due to him having no one close to talk to about his problems.
I'm starting to wonder if he doesn't feel empathy because he can't imagine/picture anyone close being hurt. His lack of relationships must play a role on his phycological being.
I wonder how much worse he'll get. I mean, if he has no empathy and he keeps having problems circle his head. -
2017-05-12 at 2:10 AM UTC in Sadistic Sociopaths Make Me SickThis piece of shit vandalizes shit as well. He was once out alone on a hike, way out in the forest and came across these little signs. So he kicked each one breaking the sign in half. He feels accomplished everytime he goes back by there and sees that that they've been replaced by thicker signs, as if he was the first and only to break them.
He never tells anyone about any of his crimes, especially the identity theft. He keeps it all to himself.
He likes acting nice and friendly around customers and Co-workers as if he's a good person and it makes him feel good that they don't know about any of the crimes he's committed.
He's a real shitbag. -

This sick son of a butch, he is always committing crimes and feels proud about not getting caught. He sabotages things at his workplace(each and every one) and like to damage company property. He regularly shoplifts but works in retail and it makes him feel good knowing that he's been investigated for ORC. He feels no guilt for his lifestyle.
He's a piece of shit and he makes me sick. -

Never heard. Looking up.

2017-05-11 at 3:43 PM UTC in Sadistic Sociopaths Make Me SickI can't stand people that are like this. No regards for the well being of others and no empathy.
I'd feel guilty if I were like them.
I really feel guilty for bad things I've done in the past. I wish I wouldn't have done those things.
I'm going to try to show more signs of empathy in my life. -

Originally posted by aldra Like I said earlier, if you're trying to load a USB stick it may be easier to mount it in the host (Ubuntu) OS, then share the folder with the client (Windows) - you can do that by going to the VM's settings in Virtualbox > Shared Folders, add it from there.
If you want to give the VM direct access to a USB device you need to go to the VM's settings > USB… Tick off Enable USB, select the appropriate USB port type (keep an eye on the status bar at the bottom, it'll indicate if you can't use the selected port), then add a enhancement on the right.
If you're lucky it'll pick up your device automatically, click the plus sign and select the device and it'll be available on (Windows) reboot. If not, you'll need to click the 'add enhancement' option above it, then edit the new enhancement and enter in unique data that matches your device.
I personally had a lot of trouble getting this working last time I tried - it was easy to set up in Windows but not so much in Linux. I think it was due to user privileges not allowing me (standard user) to route devices; switching to root may help but it's not ideal to constantly run VirtualBox as root.
PS. Make sure you've installed the appropriate VirtualBox guest tools package on the guest OS.
Sharing folders wouldn't work for rooting my phones though because I actually need to connect my phone during the process.
The option box for enabling USB is disabled. I ran VB as root and it's the same. However, I saw that one of my USB drives is already listed and it looks like it has the correct information. It still won't work though even after restarting Windows.
Why would that box for enabling USB support be disabled? All of the options below it are also disabled so this must be the problem. I think I'm going to try to reinstalling the Guest Edition package.
...
Alright. I checked and I actually didn't have any extension pack installed. I downloaded the correct extension pack and installed it. It said that is was successfully installed. Even after a reboot it still doesn't work.
...
Even after adding to the usergroup the option box is still disabled. I'm following this guild...
https://askubuntu.com/questions/25596/how-to-set-up-usb-for-virtualbox
I think tomorrow I'm going to just purge it all, redownload everything, and try again. Maybe I have a bad version or something. I've set this up several time before and not to long ago, without any problems. This time it just isn't working...

Originally posted by Lanny I guess I have apple products for both my computer and phone. I kinda detest apple as a company but they make some good stuff.
I personally think it's a little bit better to be all-in on one side rather than mixed. It's nice to have a Mac person around. I know very very little about Apple products but I do own an iPhone 6S that is iCloud locked.
Originally posted by Fox Paws What are you using this information for. I get this feeling you just want to catalogue all of the non-Linux users for future purging
Just to get a general idea of the communities preferences. I like to see how people do their thing. A lot of people seem to be either Windows/Android Phone or, Windows/iPhone.
