I was making $250-$350 a day, as a lowly painter, when I was just in my early 20's. In today's money, that would be about $700 a day. And all you need for painting is a fucking brush, a roller, a flat screw driver, a ladder and a few cans of paint. You see, I didn't just sit around all day on my lazy ass asking for free attention to soothe my sorry ass; I actually got out there and got shit done, and life was great. You can, too. It doesn't take any special skills to do something positive with your life.
there's more to painting that throwing around some colored goo and calling ones self self painter. I read do-it-yourself bullshit online all the time about how homeowners proudly express to the world how they stuck it to da man by doing assorted projects themselves. for example...priming? what is the ideal paint to use on xxxx surface in xxxx application? what roller pad/brush/sprayer/tip is ideal for xxxx paint in xxxx application? hell...most painters I know of don't even know how to get the paint on consistently, much less properly and effectively. cutting in? fuck no...homeowners get more paint where it's not sposed to be than where it is sposed to be.
my recent fun times:
- retard used 22ga automotive wiring on household 110v to feed porch lights
- retard used some sort for weird plasticy shit as underlayment under tile on a roof. same retard used some sort of fiberboard to repair bad wood on a roof that had the grain in the wrong direction -
