neither one of those faggots is me. im the first person on this planet to have used 'infinityshock.' I created the name decades ago when aol only permitted 8 characters which was 'x8shock' due to them requiring a letter for the first character. i always have it as 'infinityshock' when i register the name unless i have multiple alts then ill adjust it somewhat, such as a mmorpg i used to play where i had 'infinity shock' and 'infinity sh0ck' etc etc. up until the early 2000s the only search engine results for 'infinityshock' kicked back to me.

I'm trying to flush my hot water heater and I have no idea what I am doing
searching online doesn't help much
Right now I am emptying the whole thing, I guess, got the hose going down the driveway, and its flowing, I got the tap open, pressure valve open, everything is fine. The main water to the house is turned off atm.
so, after it empties, I turn the water supply back on, run water into it and just let it flush out for a couple hours, or what?
Or should I be flushing it out this whole time?
first, and most important thing: NEVER TURN THE WATER OFF TO A WATER HEATER, THEN SUBSEQUENTLY EMPTY IT WITHOUT ALSO SHUTTING OFF THE POWER. IN OTHER WORDS, A WATER HEATER SHOULD NEVER BE EMPTY OF WATER WITHOUT THE POWER BEING SHUT OFF.
what you posted should work. having the hose lower than the water heater helps siphon it out. this is done either by switching off the circuit breaker or pulling out the disconnect. or...pulling the fuse if its an antique house
hours shouldnt be necessary but if there are large amounts of 'shit' coming out after awhile (awhile isnt a fixed amount of time...every one is different depending on how much 'shit' is in the municipal water supply) you have more problems than just flushing the heater. a rough guess is...half hour is the max amount of time before 98% of the shit is out. youll rarely get 100% of it out. point of diminishing returns and such
the first dozen or so gallons...depending on the size of the water heater...is when the majority of sediment should flush out. watch the end of the hose. once the sediment coming out is almost non-existent you can button everything back up. MAKE SURE THE MUNICIPAL WATER SOURCE IS TURNED ON BEFORE TURNING THE POWER BACK ON. -

It was me as admin, and one other un-named person who wrote all the forum descriptions and part of the front page. The whole point of the forum was to be anonymous and have alts and shit, and just shitpost. I am not sure that the other person wants their identity revealed, probably out of sheer embarrassment, but really anyone who pays close attention to the writing style knows who it was.
I pretty much just made a bunch of posts talking shit to everyone, trying to build up some content, and whenever someone would wander in, like infinityshock or helladamnleet, I would just post pictures of helladamnleet with no teeth and just talk shit until everybody left. It was great. Then whoever was left just sat around trading links to poppy seeds, research chems, and Crouton, and posting about mental health issues.
That's the story of taintedbrowser.
