Even at its peak, it was never as big or great as none of you thought. It was gay and a gay internet nerd forum for gay nerds.
This is why I'm confused how anyone under 20 would know about this stuff tbh - totse was small and in the grand scheme of things not that interesting. The origins of the site - the idea that its role was to serve as a platform for weird and bad ideas that shouldn't have a platform - is more interesting than pretty much anything that happened there. It was a weird niche community that barely impacted the public consciousness. Pickwick and jenkem are probably the closest thing we have to a legacy (ie Whang! mentioned us in a video one time). That is the extent of our historical impact.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad there are evidently still weirdoes out there with a passing interest in the Deep Lore, but it is weird that they seemingly exist.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Even I know the Talmud is a collection of commentaries by various rabbis, not all of which have solid enough jurisprudential standing to be considered prescriptive. There is literally no basis upon which one can justifiably believe that whites are superior to other races, but are not also inferior to jedis. At least until I see some evidence of anything more nefarious going on. I mean it's obviously fucked up to just sit on the money and actively lie about giving it to charities you aren't giving it to, but last I heard they hadn't done anything egregious with it. Kinda seemed like they set aside ~$20000 for the yearly charity fundraising event (insurance, venue, celebrity guest appearances - that kinda thing) and just... didn't do anything. At all.
