Ah, after rereading your post, does the screen sort of serve as an 'ad-hoc' brillo? I was just thinking itobacco on some foil with holes poked in it.
I just find a bed of tobacco makes it burn more evenly and faster, so that you get it all in one haul. Yeah, every pipe needs a screen, and those faucet enhancements make great ones because the holes are very tiny.
They all became hated because they fucked up. Period. End of story. They became too big for their britches and then they got knocked off their perches/high horses for it. If they hadn't of gotten so high and mighty, they woulda been fine. They disregarded any and all good advice in exchange for the stupid little egos. Nah. Done it a million times. The chunk burns clean well before it goes through the tobacco if you do it right. You don't even need the tobacco.
Another quick way to smoke it is take a cigarette, rip the enhancement off, put the chunk in the ripped end and twist the paper, then hold it under a lighter and take it all in on one haul.
1. Take an empty toilet paper tube. 2. Block one end by wrapping a rubber band around one end of the tube over tin foil or stuff something in there. 3. Cut a small, round hole near the blocked end of the tube. 4. Unscrew the end of a sink faucet and remove the round, wire-mesh enhancement there and press it down into the pipe hole. 5. Lay a bit of tobacco in the bottom of the wire-mesh enhancement. 6. Place the rock on the bed of tobacco. 7. Get high.
p.s Don't forget Step 7, as it is the most important step of the process. Repeat, if necessary.
