They could get your IP the same way you are getting theirs. One day, you'll click on a pic or file they posted, which will reveal your IP address. You'll get sloppy eventually and mess up and they'll get it and come at you and rip your head off at the root.

You have to crop it. When you go to upload the file from your own machine, a window should be popping up with option to crop it. In the crop, select only what you want to appear on your entire avatar.

The content is actually irrelevant. Just the fact that you are making the connections at the specific times and making connections to the specific IP addresses is all they need to terminate your service. Just those two factors alone, combined, along with a couple of complaints, is enough to get you booted for breaching their Service Agreement. You'll learn the hard way before long, I'm sure.
