^ I wonder how something evil could posses a cross though, isn't the cross like the poster boy symbol for good and holy?
On the one hand, demons (the bad guys) love to desecrate anything which has a connection to God (good guy). On the other hand, the cross is actually a false symbol of worship, which is the "double-whammy" the spooks enjoy so much. It's like a two-birds-with-one-stone thing, where they desecrate what YOU think is holy, while tricking and terrorizing you fully at the same time. -

The cross looked like it was from at least the 14th century, full of porous pock marks in the iron or whatever it was made from. Even the frame itself looked like it came from the days of the witch burnings. It had come with the house. In the dead of night, I would wake up in a cold sweat and my eyes would immediately be drawn to and fixed to the cross, even in the gloom of the darkened bedroom - something in me knew it was pure evil - that there was something evil which was residing inside of it. It literally radiated some kind of energy field of dread, despair and death. The last time it happened, I yelled for my mother to come to my room, and when she came, I told her I had to sleep in another room because of the cross. I explained how I kept waking up at 3am to find it "looking" at me. She said it was silly and there was nothing wrong with it, but I became more agitated and insisted she get rid of it or move me to another room. So she said, "fine!" and ripped the cross off the wall in a frustrated way and left the room with it.
When I woke up the next morning, the cross was back on the wall. It was the first thing my eyes saw when they opened. I went to it and stared through the glass at it... mesmerized. My Mom was in the kitchen. I went directly to her and demanded to know why she put the cross back. She looked at me and said it wasn't back, that she put in under a pile of garbage bags out in the street the neighbor had put out for the garbage truck. I called her a liar and we began a heated argument back and forth. Finally, I grabbed her by the arm and half-pulled her into the bedroom and switched on the light and she saw it there on the wall. Then she turned white, with her eyes wide as saucers, and she insisted again she had put it under the garbage pile after she took it off the wall that night. I grabbed the cross off the wall and went outside and threw it over the rooftops of the houses nearby, and it didn't come back after that. -

Seems that 'IAM' or some other fuckface 'hacker' is starting to target my site.
I could just say 'fuck it' and let my site go down, and just post here from now on…..
But I never back down from a fight, and I sure as fuck am not going to let this motherfucker think that he is going to have an easy win.
So, I guess I should probably spend my time over there,
Or else my forum will end up like llz, with a big 'hacked' sign showing how much of a victim I am.

Nope. He was there the whole time and witnessed everything. Besides, he had full administrative privileges and could have easily restored the entire database, complete with all posts and threads, with just a few keystrokes and a few clicks of a few buttons. He just didn't because he's a fuckup like Fang and Rocklin. Mark was also gleefully joining in and fully enjoying the bannings and deletions... another truly useless fuckup to have on any staff. -

From my understanding, metaphorically, he left his front door unlocked and standing wide open, while the security system was on and fully functioning.
Like, my impression is that some playlist he posted, on his own site, led to further information about his identity. Can't get much more sloppy and incompetent than that.
I mean, the guy can post whatever he wants, it's his site, but you would think that someone who wanted to keep his identity secret would know better.
Am I wrong about the facts and the events of the last few days? Honest question, I haven't been paying real close attention.
The way I see it, the entire fiasco was a smoke screen from the get-go and we never got the real story. I also think the "terrified of my PI being revealed" story is utter bullshit. He put his PI out there in the first place because he never really cared about in the first place, and he still doesn't. Remember the fact that he threw the site up without hesitation, knowing full well PI rats infest these boards, but he never fully considered the LEO angle. I think the feds or some other LEOs made contact and "requested" IP addresses and database information, him and his compatriots shat their pants, and the rest is all the result of that. He sold us all out instead of taking a stand, just like zok did.

That's not your fault. Nothing is secure on the Internet. The fault lies with the thief, not the home owner. The only way to be fully secure on the Internet is to not be on it.
As for Idiosyncrasy, I actually like the guy and respect a lot of things about him, but my own personal preferences, likes and respects mean jack shit when it comes to the cold hard facts, and that's all anyone should really care about. He just stood there and did nothing the entire time the closing was being grossly mishandled, member accounts were shat on, possibly useful content was whisked away for no good reason, the whole time he just sat there and watched and didn't even twitch a muscle. He didn't really care all that much about his PI, he was just being passive and apathetic and useless, like he has been for the past 7 months. Well, that's the facts of it. And whether I personally like the guy really means jack shit in light of that. He betrayed the Totse spirit in the end. Make no mistake about it. Nobody can even hope to argue that and walk away happy. -

Some want a pure-discussion platform where members can share cool experience or cool guides or expand on academic topics or whatever, and the others just want a social platform where members can get to know one another and talk about nothing in particular and just socialize, with very little contribution attached in the sense of "knowledge/READ-KNOW-DO". It's like the reds and the blues, and they just can't co-exist, as has been proven time and time again. People will post where they want. Nobody can stop them from doing that.

If you're saying he's a pussy for shutting down the site that's one thing. I said "good peeps" cause I was referring to the way he treated people. You gonna call him a "bad guy" cause he got scared? That doesn't make sense.
He let his goons go rank with abuse of authority when he could easily have put an end to it by booting them off the staff. The way I see it, that's just as good as if he did it himself. That's not what I call treating people right.
