The feds came sniffing at Idio's doorstep. He folded and threw in his hand instantly. "Not worth it", said Idio. The mods didn't want to give the feds any more fodder, so they banned everyone's accounts and tried to hard delete the more controversial threads and forums. They were told not to talk. Now the feds are watching to see what happens here.

    teh moar u now...

If there isn't at least some basic rules, eventually, the place will just turn into 4Chan with Bat Country posts everywhere, but at the same time I like the idea of members having a full range of freedoms without some power-hungry jackasses breathing down their necks. Child porn should be prohibited. As you said before, anybody causing a disruption if it's not funny. Of course, everybody knows I consider the use of PI to be the sign of a true coward, but it is also true that people should be smart enough to keep their shit off the Net.

I like the automatic subscription to threads I've posted and replied in, and the subscription area to view them, as well. Tried to find the setting in account options, but it's not there. I turned off notifications altogether, because they're quite annoying.

    have fun. im out.

Well, that will leave you and your butt-buddies Rocklin and Idio more time to go fuck over whatever member accounts you haven't already shat on over at RDFRN. I'm sure there's still a few left over there to get your dick hard at least a few more times. Oh, and don't let the door hit your dumb ass on the way out.

    GAC Early Warning

Radix received a GAC Early Warning as an entire applicant, where each one of the applicants was flagged by the U.S. Government. This seems to be the only time a portfolio applicant had all of their applications warned. The issue does not deal with the technical capabilities or thematic content of their applications, but rather the inclusion of an email address associated with the US' Federal Bureau of Investigation. It seems that Radix included correspondence with this address as a recommendation with each of their applications.[3]

    Application Details

The following is excerpted from the applicant's reply to question #18:

"The mission of .space is to serve as a blank canvas on the Internet, for anyone across the globe. Our namespace is not specialized, or themed. It is open to all, regardless of country of origin, profession, industry, speciality, interest or hobby. It is boundless and multi-dimensional. Our name space is wide open for everyone to paint their dreams.

With .Space, the possibilities are endless. .Space always welcomes expansion and abundance. Registrants will find their choice of domain names, and allow for unrestricted, uncategorized innovation and growth. .Space will remain always open to new frontiers, exploration and innovation in all fields of human endeavour. With .Space, individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs, communities, entities, hobbyists, students and anyone else can get their preferred choice of name.

Too often today, when a potential registrant goes to a registrar’s site to register a new domain name, the domain name is unavailable and the registrant is presented with a long list of permutation options that are not their preferred choice – either for the name or the TLD. Our research shows that today, close to 70% of all .com ‘check-availability’ lookups result in names not being available (Internal Research data). The registrant is left with no choice but to register substandard names that do not exactly denote what visitors should expect to find on the website.

The .Space Registry will aim to serve as an open and available-to-all namespace, which we positively believe, will invite innovation and fresh possibilities at a global level."[4]

    Contract Signed
On 3 April 2014 Radix received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .space after passing all the required processes needed to become a Registry Operator for the string.[5]

    Delegation and Availability
.space was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on 30 May, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[2]

Give us an account of your real life experiences with poltergeists/ghosts. Try to keep it serious.

When I was about 10 or 12 years old, I walked into my mother's bedroom at about 3 in the morning. She was sleeping on a king-sized, wooden-frame bed, which weighed at least 200-300 pounds. I opened the door and the bed was right there in front of me floating about three or four feet off the floor and rocking gently from side to side and too and fro, just like a boat on calm water. I went into complete shock for a moment and my entire body froze like an icicle. I literally could not even move a single muscle. After about a full 30 seconds, my muscles started to unlock and I walked forward until I was at the foot of the bed. When I got to the bed, it was still floating three to four feet off the floor and gently swaying in mid air. I reached down, feeling like I was caught in slow motion, and passed a hand under one of the legs. It passed right under, back and forth, nothing there holding the bed up. It was no mirage. It was no dream. No trick of the light. Right there I knew it was for real and my life view changed forever. There are invisible people, or creatures, or things, or whatever they are, right behind this curtain of reality we live in, and right there I knew for a positive, verified fact that they are for real.

I walked around to the side of the bed and saw my mother laying there sleeping peacefully as she gently rocked in unison with the bed, just like she was sleeping in a boat on calm water. Then I called out in a loud whisper, "Mom... Mom.... Mom...", getting louder and more urgent each time, but she didn't answer, so I reached out and grabbed her arm firmly and called her again, but she still didn't wake up. The bed continued to float and hover this entire time. Then I yelled really loud, "MOM!!" and twisted her arm a bit and pulled on her, and her eyes finally opened, and at the exact same split second her eyes opened, the bed came crashing down onto the hardwood floor all at once so hard that wisps of dust came up out of the cracks of the floorboards. Then I told her what just happened, but she didn't believe me. It really did happen, though. This is a true story.

So why didn't you re-open your forum, Arnox? It was the perfect opportunity.

Because he's a real dumb fuck. Nice enough and all, but dumber than a tree stump.

I am going to miss a lot of you guys. The sentiments that have been expressed are very appreciated. The era of what a lot of people yearn for from a community website may have passed, but we will always be connected by what we have gone through and how we have grown together. I will never forget you all and what I've learned from you.

Yeah... that's why you let your sell-out lapdogs ban the accounts of a bunch of decent members and delete all our threads and posts before we could even salvage anything from them, instead of just letting us enjoy the couple of days we had left on the site. Shut up hypocrite. You make me sick. You didn't learn anything and nobody owes you shit, asshole. Hope the bad karma finds you soon.

It's in your account settings on the "Account" tab.

True. At least we got rid of the totse2 cancer.

Can't wait for new drama, though.

I doubt there will be much drama, for the fact that Lanny genuinely doesn't give two shits about very much. Sure, there's a few things he has a hankering for, but you could probably list them on one hand.

I'd say we all lucked out pretty damned fine to get a full-fledged VBul BBS even before the old place closes. It's fast, full-featured and best of all, there's no power hungry lackeys like fang and Rocklin running it.
