Yesterday I memorized a few lines of sanskrit and learned how to neutralize my negative thoughts by asking - are my thoughts useful, what is their behavior and chanting the sanskrit.

It works I got a new job that is really easy and pays more than I've ever made, to start, and ill be getting a HEARTY raise soon already as my new boss LIEKS ME and told me so.

It was still still pretty warm too. 2 bacon cheeseburgers just ketchup (exactly how I like it), a big order of chicken strip and a bunch of fries. THE PERFECT ORDER for me.

I was at a funeral a few weeks ago that was also in a catholic church. The church was on a native reserve and had no power or water because it was in disuse due to COVID or something. It was packed and a bunch of people were outside, some of which because they didn't like catholicism. The priest was pretty lame tbh, he didn't speak any truths or insight and just talked about choices when the funeral was for a murder victim. There were people from all walks of life and I sat near a regional (at least) celebrity who was quite choked up. I was overcome with anger the whole time. Security blocked off streets in every direction and people had to walk up from quite a ways. When the body was carried out and the drumming hit (after the moving and uniting eulogy) everyone got pretty choked up and took turns touching the casket. After a certain point I realized I wasn't going to feel any better so I left, ran into someone I knew who didn't attend the funeral and we smoked a joint at a gas station while I was wearing a black suit and he was dressed like a bum and driving a 4 wheeler.
Tl dr the priest sucked but it was a decently respectful and somber send off for someone who was one of the good guys in a world full of bad

Money isn’t really an object in my life and hasn’t been for years.
That’s what caused a 500 dollar a day fentanyl habit because I thought that’s what made me happy.
Spending a year locked up and detoxing and even though I spent the max on commissary every week it made me realize that money isn’t shit but really a thought.
Growing up rich spoiled me, and now at 30 I’ve had to take a step back and realize that money isn’t anything but a fucking object, it doesn’t bring happiness.
I’d rather be happy in a Honda Civic than cry in a Maserati anyway, just saying.
It has given me the upper hand in life a lot and I’m grateful for that and instead of pissing everything away like I did for years I’m attending college and actually working on my life goals.
It’s only after I stopped using the excessive money that I realized it can’t bring true happiness.
Took me 30 fucking years to even slightly figure this out, learn from my mistakes please
