Dualshock2 wasn't good either its just nostalgia. The xbox 360 controller is so ergonomic. It's got perfect placement and is the perfect size. Doesn't cramp the fingers as much because you hold it with your palms instead of your fingers. Thats the major issue with sony controllers.
Nintendo doesn't even try. All their controllers are all shit. -

Over the decades the government has been consolidating power in every way possible, and this is a scary thing once you realize that a government in its essence is a monopoly on violence.
