It's hard buying stuff for young kids as they don't yet have the skills needed to operate or play with fun toys so they are pretty much left with random plastic crap toys that make noises at them. -

Woke up bright and early today so I could take my girlfriend's dog to the vet for an allergy shot.
I left her dog there so I could go home and have some peace and quiet.
The kid's birthday is in 1 week and I don't know what to get her.
Last year was easy because she didn't have so much stuff already but now there are not many toys for her age that she doesn't already have.
Was thinking on getting her a camera because she really likes looking at pictures and maybe she would like taking pictures too.
Work went well last night although slightly busier than expected.
Today should be smooth though.
Anyways, I've got a decent amount of time before work and should probably try to figure out something around here to do.
I guess I'll start with buying a couple birthday presents and then maybe move on to a chore or 2.
Kind of hungry though and really want to gobble a bunch of food and take a mid morning nap. -

Woke up today feeling so rested and fresh.
Was suppose to have another estimate for gutters this morning but they tried cancelling on me over the weekend and then blew my phone up at 8am hours before our appointment and then didn't show up.
I've got a lot of little stuff to do this week but nothing too major.
Hoping to start my Chantix soon but I'm waiting for a good day to do it and so far I haven't had a morning where I've woke up ready.
I'm going to work my regular hours this week and try to find something fun for my girlfriend and I to do on our weekend together coming up.
As for today I'm just going to try and put some stuff away before work and clean up a bit.

Time to time I'll message him to see what's new but that is all.
Well back toward the beginning of the year he brought over his new girlfriend for a holiday get together.
She didn't seem very interesting to me but was just the kind of woman I expected him to end up with again.
My brother has worked at Lowes for 15 years and recently quit to take a job as a used window salesman and about a month and a half ago he started talking about how he was trying to move so that his kid could attend school in a better district.
I'll admit I sort of thought the whole thing to be ludacris as there just was not enough time for anyone to really find, let alone close on a house and move.
Well today my mom came over to our house which was really odd because she never ever comes over to anywhere I am staying and I mean at all.
The last 3 places I've lived I think I have seen her come over twice including today and the time before she wouldn't get out of her car in the parking lot of my old apartment.
Anyways, she comes inside and starts jibber jabbering talking about how my brother and his new girlfriend bought a house together and how it's a mansion...
Yes, a mansion supposedly.
I kinda brushed it off as whatever but then she pulls out her phone and I'm not kidding when I say that it is indeed a fucking mansion.
(not it but pretty close)
So I'm scratching my head at this point half annoyed my mom came to our slum just to brag that my brother is a successful house husband now.
Trying to figure out just how the hell his girlfriend apparently can afford such a gigantic house my herself because I know he didn't chip in.
The previous owners built the house and lived there for 16 years but grew tired of trying to furnish all the rooms and that's why they sold it.
It's one of those big 30k sq foot houses with 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, movie theater, 6 car garage, 18 hole indoor golf course on 50+ acres with a fully stocked pond in the backyard.
Now, I am happy for my brother but he couldn't afford to fix the hold in his last roof after living there for 10 years and now he is in a mega mansion and all I can hope is that his girlfriend is really secure in her job because my brother sells used windows and probably can't afford the grass the mailbox is planted on.
Anyways, if it was a competition I forfeit.

Our new zero gravity massaging bed came yesterday.
It is so comfortable and relaxing that I barely found the will to get out of it this morning.
We have been relaxing so far this weekend.
Tried to go to dinner last night but the kid was throwing a fit so we got our food to go.
Stopped at Ollies yesterday and that was fun.
Anyways, today we are just kicking it some more I guess.
Suppose I should probably try and do a couple of things around the house. -

Work went well last night.
Came home and slept pretty decent.
Anyways, I've got several little chores to do before work today and none of them should take very long.
Hoping that today at work will be another easy day.
I told my boss I wasn't coming in early if there was no extra equipment to use and especially since I won't be making any OT anyways this week.
There is always more money out there if I need it.
Right now I am trying to figure out how to procure the tools necessary to finish replacing the basement windows before it cools off too much this year.
I replaced 3 of them in the Spring but still have 3 more to go.
And I need to forget about that and find someone to do my gutters.

All I know is there is a lot for me to catch up on and anything I end up crossing off my list will be one less thing for later.
Anyways, about to shave and shower, eat something and change out the sheets again.
Maybe I'll go ahead and gather up the trash. The damn trash can is full AF as I don't think it got taken to the alley last week or maybe it did...
I've got a lightbulb to change and dishes to put away.
And I'm hungry AF so probably should eat.
