Because he ran a self-funded campaign, made very good points against Obongo's decisions (ie. getting involved in Syria, talking shit to Saudis and pointing out their pervasive funding of US politics etc.), talked a lot about reversing US expansionist policies, stuff like that. Like I've said many times before, that illusion was shattered when he fired Flynn. You have to give him credit for trashing the TPP, though I've heard that French lawmakers goaded him into it.

I'm not sure how you're missing this, but what I absolutely do. My entire point is that whoever the US president is, actual (meaningful) policy changes little.

Probably both. Again though, the US political establishment does not want to lose its status as sole hegemonic superpower (though it arguably already has through deepening Russian-Chinese co-operation), so regardless of who got the presidency, there would have been a similar effort to undermine US-China trade. It probably would've been less overt, stupid and bombastic than this trade war nonsense but it's naiive to expect that relations would've remained 'normal'.
Again, my point is that direct criticism of Turnip is largely meaningless because his position is mostly that of a figurehead. His advisors and administration are infested with the same sort of termites that all are (true, people like Pompeo and Bolton are even worse than usual), and they control the information that makes it to his 'inner circle'.

My opinion is that Trump isn't much different from any other (recent) US president - he claimed he would be and maybe even tried to, but ended up completely neutered the moment he fired Flynn. but once I had to squirt really bad from drinking crystals hot sauce straight from the bottle and drinking and I went into the fiesta mart and there was already some dude taking a dumper at seven in the morning probably that worked there anyways i went to womens restroom and it was fucking disgusting, way worse than any mens room i've ever been in.. I ran back out and went back to the mens room told him to in spanish to hurry the fuck up, "rapido, pronto, ayuda me" and he was like "que?" so I ran back to the womens restroom and I couldnt fucking do it, there was period blood all over the seat and liquid asshole / urine ect.. so I tried to fit my ass over the trashcan, one of those trash cans that are imbedded in the wall so even my skinny ass couldn't fit in I sprayed a lot of orange ass and some of it was slipping out of the trash can.
I felt like it was a saw movie, I had to go run over the tp gizmo to whipe burning b hole, but the bathroom was on incline to a drain in the middle of room to easily clean i guess, and the time was ticking so i quickly wiped my ass as fast and ass hard as i could right before the liquid orange toxic ass got on my slippers and made it out. I left the store.
And went and bought my groceries elsewhere
