I met my father and brother at an AA meeting last Thursday for the first time ever. My brother was stoked and my father was too busy rambling about God to take much interest at first but he wants us to schedule a more private meeting. Not sure if I'm doing the right thing or not.
Also in the past month I've drank exactly one canned margarita and smoked weed twice so I'm not doing too bad. -

No I've had this argument at LEAST 3 times with totse2k1 and I expect even mentioning scop will summon him to this thread.
it makes you very confused and disoriented, you see things that aren't there and think they're perfectly normal, you forget you were on a drug at all and have conversations with people who aren't there and chase a kid around your house only to finally realise he's not real when he slips behind the fridge and you pry the fridge away from the wall and realise there's no way a kid could fit back there, even if a bunch of cats, mice and dogs scurried out when you moved it.
then you wake up the next morning, have a very loud argument with your girlfriend who isn't there, your mother (who is there) asks what's wrong and you apologise for interrupting the session she had tutoring some neighbourhood kid (who isn't there).
you then try to drive to work, arguing with your girlfriend some more, eventually realising she's not there and you're arguing with your backpack. you wonder if you're losing your mind, get T-boned at an intersection and try hard to act normal while the police breathalyze you and you wait for a tow truck. all the while staring at the part of your car that was hit where the plastic is cracked and a skeleton inside the hole is waving at you.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
