It is true that the Republicans seem pretty splintered rn mostly among Two camps. Dems seem more united but ineffectual and out of touch. It doesn't take any unique powers of prediction to point out that most US politicians are shitty and corrupt. Pretty sure a Yemeni child ducking bombs is acutely aware of that -

This is true and I was being a little unfair to the preacher guy, I've just seen him "preach" before and found him to be laughable. Sure but I was thinking more of the manufacturing and logistics networks that would force chiners out of jerbs (typing jerbs just autocorrected to "Jerusalem" and I think my phone is possessed) and could create a class of previously middle class of dissatisfied workers, sympathetic to the plight of Taiwan and Hong Kong. Imagine if the unemployment rate hit 9% in China and all the 2 decade old SEZ cities that were designed for manufacturing and commerce were full of unemployed chiner mill3nials? Chiner would have to do huge transfer payments, similar to the ones Trump did for soybean farmers in response to his own ill advised sanctions and chiner would have to cash in some debt and bonds, potentially having more repercussions
