People see the jedis in Israel being nationalistic, looking out for their own and rejecting immigration, and they admire that and want to associate with that.
They don't realise that the reason they aren't allowed to act likewise in their own countries is the jedis.
And you have the whole religious angle. People are raised having the bible read to them, and being told to identify with these middle eastern savages. Children are told from an early age to empathise with the jedis when they do things like kill an Egyptian and hide his body, or besiege and then kill everyone in Jericho. -

No, my aunt was an ER nurse, and always fed me a hatred of motorbikes. She'd see these guys come in with separate hands and legs.
And I visit liveleak on the reg, which is an anti-motorbike news source.
Also one of my childhood friends died on a normal bike when he accidentally went down a canal steps in Sweden then whacked his head. He was about the only guy I knew who was smarter than me.
I'm fairly anti-bike right now. 2 wheels bad.

Sid vicious was a rich junkie which is a death sentence but this is how he died. He got high and nodded out with his girlfriend and a couple other people. He had a stash and the couple other people robbed him and stabbed his girlfriend with his knife in the process. Sid wakes up and says to himself in his terrible british accent "I stabbed me girlfriend" and confesses to the crime to the police. It takes the police a while but they eventually figure out it wasn't sid who stabbed his girlfriend. He spent a couple months in jail and his tolerance to heroin went to basically nothing. He gets out, shoots up, and immediately dies because he thought he needed a lethal dose of heroin to get high. There are probably a lot of life lessons to be learned from his experience but the most important one is don't play in a shitty band.
MAYBE the most important is to avoid schizophrenic jedi girls who will kill themselves by stabbing themselves with a small knife in the stomach.
