Holy shit you're a pompous ass.
That's gotta be rough.
I'm just gonna have another drink. -
2018-11-19 at 2:45 PM UTC in Predict the FutureI predict I'mma pass out any second now from all the drank, g, and benzos, as well as despite all the meth I did today.
Eyelids dropping.
Hands relaxing.
I am kinda getting bored of stims though, TBH.
I predict that, by December, I will have cut virtually all recreational drugs out of my life. -

Exactly.
The lowest common denominator, ethically and intellectually speaking, is like some kind of monster that has been created by the Internet to spread ignorance, hate, and bigotry.
(For the record, I had infinityshock in mind when I wrote that). -

Dude, repeat after me, this is an Internet forum called Niggas in Space, where 90% of the posts are about doing drugs, political conspiracy theories, and declarations about how much this place sucks.
We are not a tribunal of learned scholars.
Some of us may strive to be, but that's not the bare minimum barrier of entry for a place like this. -

Giving her the benefit of the doubt and interpreting her post charitably, we can deduce that she meant "I couldn't imagine what you're going through", or something of that nature.
That is actually a pretty normal thing to say to someone who is grieving. -

Originally posted by WellHung Op, for an academic, u disappoint me. You did not once mention the title of your thread, (your topic or 'thesis'), in your extremely long and doddering introductory post… in the future, please do a better job of integrating your topic into the body of content.
This was never intended to be a formal (APA, MLA, type thing), just some musings and observations.
I'll derive my thesis from the ground up. -
2018-11-19 at 1:53 PM UTC in The Yerkes–Dodson lawAlso, I'd wager dollars to donuts that this thread isn't going to get many contributions from anyone but us, Odigo.
The plebeian masses are too good for attempts at self-improvement. :p
But we'll keep it going though; with the devotion of a soldier. -
2018-11-19 at 1:51 PM UTC in The Yerkes–Dodson lawPHARMACOLOGICAL TECHNIQUE #2: BENZODIAZEPINES
Shortly above, I mentioned that I plan on trying an anxiety-addressing approach, inspired by your suggestion Odigo.
I am actually going to take some clonazepam early in the morning to see if it can help me achieve a less perfectionistic mindset, so that I can simply focus on the task at hand. -
2018-11-19 at 1:49 PM UTC in The Yerkes–Dodson lawPHARMACOLOGICAL TECHNIQUE #1: METHAMPHETAMINES.
My field report for today is basically just... just don't do it.
It might have some compelling rationale behind it, but the addictive need for hit after hit, or the need to boost an orally-induced session (just cuz euphoria, why not?).
I'm not taking all stimulants off of the table yet necessarily, but I will be trying to switch to weaker, less recreational ones such as Modafinil and Caffiene. -

Ironically, being a full-blown (highly-functional / only at night time) alcoholic, I have not considered it a potential nootropic.
I could see it helping with anxiety, either social (networking with new people, presenting to people, or even test/exam anxiety or maybe even perfectionism-related procrastination.
In fact, this gives me an idea...
I'm going to try a new technique tomorrow. -

2018-11-19 at 1:40 PM UTC in 65 days of darkness begins today in Barrow, Alaska...Who in the fuck lives in Barrow, Alaska?
I live in British Columbia, and as soon as I get as north/east as the Okanagan, I feel like I've ventured into some kind of population void.
And don't get me started on Yukon, NWT, or Nunavut.
Like wtf? These are gigantic land masses but so underpopulated because they are cold and boring as fuck. -

2018-11-19 at 1:26 PM UTC in So, my mom passed tonight. To be honest, I'm kind of surprised you posted it here of all places, where tact and civility tend to be greatly lacking.
But then I remembered how earlier there was a lot of discussion on here about how so many of us grew up with each other. Most of my role models as an adolescent and young adult were fellow Totseans.
We could always come here to vent about anything, or to just shitpost to get some lulz, it didn't matter.
Totse/Zoklet/NIS really is like a family.
That being considered, it no longer surprises me as much that you posted this here.
You have an extensive support network should you need one. -

2018-11-19 at 1:14 PM UTC in How to sleep after meth? For the record, I just smoked like a gram of meth over the past few hours, including a huge hit just right now.
And I am drowsy as fuck.
For whatever reason, one of my primary areas of expertise happens to be dealing negative side effects of drugs. -
2018-11-19 at 1:08 PM UTC in How to sleep after meth?
Originally posted by gadzooks If you take stimulants for energy, to enhance productivity, or generally just to have a good time, you eventually need to sleep.
This is a lot easier than it might seem.
First and foremost, get yourself one (or more) of the following pharmaceuticals:
1. Olanzapine.
2. Seroquel.
3. Benzodiazepines (various).
4. Diphenhydramine.
5. Opiates (WARNING Proceed with absolute caution. These WILL put you right to sleep after a meth, coke, or crack binge, but they carry their own habit-forming downsides.
6. Melatonin.
7. Alcohol.
8. GHB.
9. Chloral hydrate.
The order in which I listed the above substances was not meant to have any intrinsically meaningful order.
Olanzapine is at the top intentionally though, because that shit will knock you right the fuck out.
A lot of the above medications can tend to be a tad obscure, and thus difficult to obtain.
Only Diphenhydramine and Melatonin are available OTC, and of course alcohol.
I promise you, though, that diphenhydramine, melatonin, and alcohol on their own will do the trick.
Unless you've been on a multi-day bender, in which case you might need the stronger stuff.
Benzos are ideal, but that's personal preference speaking.
GHB is a potent hypnotic/sedative if you can get your hands on it. Just be careful with it because it is potent at the milliliter range.
I thoroughly and strongly advise against opiates, but got damn if they won't knock you the fuck out if you've been on stims for days.
My ultimate recommendation is benzos (if available), or GHB (if available - again, use with caution), and finally, if nothing exotic is available to you, hit up your local pharmacy and get Melatonin and Diphenhydramine. Take a couple shots of alcohol too if that's your thing.
In no time whatsoever you'll be sawing logs and dreaming of sweet sugar plums dancing in your head.
Downers are my specialty. I rarely do stims. So I know what I'm talking about here.
Any questions will be addressed in due time.
I'm currently taking a CNS concoction to come down off of $450 worth of crack.
I'm sleepy as fuck, so that should tell you something.
Passing out on stims can be a truly easy and even enjoyable transition. -

2018-11-18 at 9:49 PM UTC in The Yerkes–Dodson lawSo to kick things off, I am going to present BEHAVIORAL TECHNIQUE #1: TASK FOCUS.
I'm going to close all my NIS tabs, and stay right away for a few hours while I get some work done.
Trust me, this is one I have found to work miracles for increasing productivity in the past.
So, see you all in due time. -
2018-11-18 at 9:47 PM UTC in The Yerkes–Dodson lawI'm going to classify my experiments/techniques into:
1. Pharmaceutical (including supplements).
2. Behavioural (habits and ways of doing things).
3. Neurostimulatory (rTMS, tDCS, etc).
Perhaps other categories will emerge...
