But infinitshock is not just boring, he's spamming.
I have seen some (few and far between) expert trolls sustain their troll game for years, because they played it with some class and finesse rather than just spamming. If infinityshock could simply blend in, he could get away with trolling us to ininity and beyond.
But it's merely about getting a rise out of Lanny. Well, first off, that's petty and pointless, but also, it affects a fuck ton of other people as well. -

But straight up spamming every thread with bullshit (and I am talking about pre-Bill Krozby-dic-pic era), is just entirely counter-productive. -

I know you've been around in the whole Totsesphere longer than I have, or at least damn near close to it (I originally registered in '04, and recognize your name from back then, although you very well might have been around much, much longer). He's more nuisance than message.

It took less than a few weeks after my registering here to realize that infinityshock is unbelievably annoying.
But he actually was violating rules of common decency, above and beyond merely being annoying. ESPECIALLY now. Spamming Bill Krozbyby's dick pic everywhere is clearly a copy+paste agenda, and it's just plain obnoxious at this point. -

I mean, imagine the responsibility involved in maintaining a discussion forum where people post, on a DAILY basis, anti-semitic, pro-pedophilia, and other incredibly controversial political opinions, along with drug discussion, etc, etc...

I can't say i'm surprised. I tried making an issue of this years ago and I was told to just ignore it while he never got banned once and I got banned multiple times for taking the matter into my own hands.

But there are factors beyond the immediate that should play a role in all this dick-pic-spam.
I've seen Totse come and go, and then Zoklet come and go, and I just don't want to see yet another site be destroyed over, what I characterize as, a relatively petty grievance.
I'm not even going to claim that Lanny is the most objective forum-runner ever or anything like that. He does a decent job and all, but, no matter who moderates/administers an Internet forum, there will always be ways in which certain subjective aspects of themselves arise. But I really believe he's done a damn good job so far at keeping those COMPLETELY NATURAL tendencies at bay.
If I truly believed that Lanny was violating free speech in some significant/fundamental way, I'd PERSONALLY go and set up my own forum for everyone to migrate to...
At least, until I wind up dealing with a dozen or so "infinityshock's"... Everyone gets sick of it all eventually. -

I actually get where Scron is coming from... At least on some level... But the fact of the matter is that, at the end of the day, having to deal with necro-bumped threads packed with Bill Krozby's dick pic is kind of annoying.

But there's a difference between spam and opinion.
What infinityshock is doing now (ESPECIALLY NOW, although to some, albeit maybe to a lesser extent, for a long while) is SPAMMING. It's on par with what the shoe vendor bots do when they post all over with the same old copied+pasted marketing bullshit.
There comes a point where the "speech" in free speech becomes nonsensical bullshit that the people have a right to silence, or at least quarantine... -

A) Has a history of having tons of alts.
B) Is one of the first people to always rush to defend the virtues of infinityshock's campaign.
C) Criticizes Lanny all the time to the point that it seems some kind of personal gripe.
D) Probably has the technical know-how to evade the usual forum-protection protocols.
...Is kinda screaming "I'm infinityshock."
I could totally be wrong though, and turning this into a witch hunt is silly, but the above theory has crossed my mind.
