   One theory of conceptual understanding is analogies all the way down.
   
   We all have an intuitive understanding of certain things we encounter every day, and then use analogies to these things to construct conceptual schema for more complex topics.
   
   A common way to teach the science of electrical circuitry is to compare current to water flow. We have a more intuitive understanding of how liquids flow because we interact with taps and toilets and various plumbing phenomena on a daily basis.

   Other than trolling dumb people,
   Making arc lighters, designing directed energy weapons(not to hurt people), generator technology, creating ceramic art pieces/handgrenades, enjoying the weather.
   
   I'm the only real totse member left. Other than Spectral and Krow. So I do totse type stuff.

   
   I was originally drawn to Totse back in the day for the Bad Ideas type stuff, but I kinda outgrew it.
   
   Pyrotechnics as a hobby is all good, because it doesn't necessarily imply any kind of criminal intent.
   
   But most of what initially brought me to Totse I have lost interest in.

   I have been off the rails lately with my drinking and wish I could last even a few days clean/sober. I have done it before. But it seems harder now for some reason.

   I blacked out on Friday and woke up with bruises on my face (not sure if human-caused or a result of an intoxication-induced fall). I also lost a bag full of stuff at some point.

    This most recent sequence of fuck ups started when I went into the city (Vancouver). I was drinking on the bus ride out there, and due to gridlock traffic on the freeway, I drank A LOT.
    
    Then I drank with the homies I rarely see since moving.
    
    Apparantly it's not just the itinerant vagrants ruining my life... I might be the only consistent architect of my own demise.
