People would give me stuff all the time and I was like why would anyone ask for things? people seem to pretty nice and sympathetic when they see someone struggling or sleeping outside.
It's because nobody gives anything to people that constantly ask for it, well they do but only some change or whatever, they get a few dollars and do that every day stuck in the cycle. I didn't ask for anything and people bought me food, gave me money like $20 or a $5 probably because they didn't see my every day asking everyone.
And I was always very thankful to the person that went out of their way to notice that I was suffering. I am the same way where I can't help but notice people like that, I can tell when someones having a rough time but as soon as I see them beg every person walking by I lose all sympathy and think they deserve it.
If someone asks me for a smoke I will tell them to fuck off but if I see some cute homeless girl struggling I will ask if she smokes, offer her one and then probably end up giving her the pack and buying her lunch. I used to see homeless girls in my neighborhood and I felt bad for them because they weren't bothering anyone and looked really desperate all alone so I would bring them a meth pipe with a fat bowl melted in it and a new lighter and buy them something to drink and eat.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
