One time I lost my IDs (too frequently lately) I asked them to use my mugshot and plate # to identify and they actually did lol.
I inherited some vehicles I went to title & register them. I'm told there's a "reg stop" on my license & have to contact the clerk of court ina county miles away concerning a DWI ticket that occurred 15 years ago ?! She tells me I have to contact the DMV & get the case file # ?!
So after numerous hours via phone & several days later I finally get a message rebuttal from DMV. They're saying I owe $100 for a "civil revocation fee" to the local clerk where my DWI case was. That you can't pay online nor via the phone so looks like I gotta drive 4 hours to pay a measly fucking $100, I'll spend that in gas lol. What irks me is this shit is 15+ years old & my attorney assured me he paid all of my fees (fuck knows he should've for what he charged me). But this fee never surfaced as I renewed,titled several vehicles over the years ?! Sloppy ass bureaucracy strikes again (shakes head).
So I bust ass to get there before they close, pay the clerk, get dupe receipts, bust ass to get back & hit the DMV office. Still a fucking stop on my file ?! I call the clerk's office & they say it takes 24-48 hours to post on the DMV system ?! WTF , in this day & age, shit is err should be instantaneous ?!
Here we are 3 weeks later & it still hasn't posted. I'm just going to contact an attorney & let them sort it. -

Inherited spot's HVAC/heating system has been down & I've been dealing w/ unsavory contractors that try to get diagnostic fees up front & schedule weeks away or don't even bother to show up ?

How fitting I find a small fledgling HVAC company, vet owned which turns out by a guy whom I shared a drill Sgt. with in basic training ?! He could fit me in today(11/10). Big ordeal to slack civilians turned out to be : Wiring from t-stat was original,brittle,patched/repaired for years/without proper color coding that lead to arcing in the crawlspace air handler & blew a basic ass fuse. Quick & simple shit for a qualified fucking trooper wiling to get dirty !
How could you not fuck with this company image ?! lol
After dealing w/ sketchy ass dipshits quoting shit like "$220 Diagnostic fee" plus $90 per hour labor. I got my shit fixed & dude was here under the house toiling for 3+ hours.

Patching a textured ceiling sounds hard to get right. I did a lot of drywall work and man fuck those shitty popcorn ceilings. I could never get them right after I made holes doing plumbing or some bullshit.
I tried to re-popcorn it, was never happy with the finish, I just pulled it all down & skim-coated/mud the ceiling w/a nice swirl texture for the win. -
