This is a private, for profit, corporation that does not receive any charitable donations, any government funding, or any subsidies related to the operation. Individuals that move in here pay a 50$ non refundable administrative fee and then proceed to pay 210$ a week. Requiring 260 a month from that point forward. As for me, I no longer pay rent here because I am the manager so my 210$ a week is waived as compensation for the administration and watch of those around me. If I wasn't getting this place for free I would've just moved back to my apartment with my roommate and my dog and probably started smoking weed again. But I get to live in this nice environment for free and it's not that much work.
Where did you and most of your roommates get the $210 per week from. How do you know there isn't government subsidies fir the program? Do you have full access to the corporate ledgers?
When you've been around as long as I have you know there are tins of for profit corporations that receive government subsidies in everything from farming to shelters to yes even group homes. Many smart businesses men open corporations in "industries "eligible" for subsides.
There are even companies that charge to walk you through the process of setting up private for profit group homes with government money.

Having been a surveyor in the military I know ever degree of latitude is roughly 69 miles. A quick Google voice search on Android reveals there is 2.2 degrees latitude between Tampa and Miami. Having lived in Tampa for 5 years I know Florida is only 350 to 200 miles wide on the peninsula.

If you're speaking about tropical storm Milton you're a brainwashed moron. It's currently in the gulf off the east coast of Mexico. Even if it makes cat 3 as "predicted" it will likely hit Tampa on the west coast. You are in Miami which is about 150 south of Tampa and about 260 west. All you're going to get is high winds and some mild flooding possibly.
How many hurricanes have you been through? I've been in cat 3 through cat 5 on an island 35 miles off the coast that was only 70 miles long by just 2 miles at it's widest point.
They are not anywhere near as bad as the media makes it out. Just use your head and realize you might be inconvenienced for a few days. Think of it as a camping trip in your house. No big deal... -
