2018-02-05 at 4:06 AM UTC in We need to get Enter a waifuHTS, I'm not sure whether I asked this before, but have you thought about recording the sex sessions between you and Scron and selling them for income? I'd like to see one, just to satisfy my curiosity. Or at least be a good little whore and post a picture of him in you doggystyle, with you looking back and holding a note with your username written on it in your mouth.

2018-02-05 at 3:58 AM UTC in The Retardest Thread: Fashionably Late Edition.Found some anecdotes supporting my theory of memory modulation and reproduction.
I don't think we forget about labour because of the pay-off at the end. I think we forget because our life completely changes after each labour and the whole first year of a baby is very intense and full of new memories. Our old life (during and before labour) starts getting blurry and we delete many of those old memories to store new information. I always think that's why we remember so little about pregnancy and labour - and may be even the baby's first year- because the rate at which new memories are made with a new child is amazing.

I just gave birth several days ago, and something definitely happened to my memory of it. I remember being pretty traumatized right after, and in the day or two following - thinking about it made me cry. I even told the doctor that though we'd previously discussed a 3 year IUD, I actually wanted something longer term. I thought everyone was lying about how once the baby was there, I'd forget how bad it was - I had the baby, and I also never wanted to do that again. But then a few days later, I realized the memory of labor was no longer upsetting - I remember what happened, and I remember that I felt upset at the time, but now the negative feelings aren't attached to the memory. It's very strange to realize your brain has disconnected emotionally from a memory.
If people can't even accurately remember what their past life was like how can they be sure they're genuinely happier than they were before? Our biology clearly seems to reduce memories from the most unpleasant periods. I while back I posted a study that found that for at least the first 4 years of a parents life the average negative impact on happiness is about 60% greater than the death of a spouse. This has clear implications for evolutionary theory.
You fools, you're getting cucked by biology! Get a vasectomy now! -

2018-02-05 at 1:58 AM UTC in The Retardest Thread: Fashionably Late Edition.I wonder if anyone has ever been dyed black as a prank or for revenge. Like, if you used an industrial strength dye and covered them in it for hours while they were incapacitated, how long would they remain that way? I wonder what the longest lasting dye available is.

2018-02-05 at 1:36 AM UTC in The Retardest Thread: Fashionably Late Edition.I'm not sure if this is a false memory I just recalled, but as a child I remember that for some reason it was fun to shower wearing clothes, and I may have pissed myself while doing that because it felt good, completely letting go and feeling that warm liquid spread around you, abandoning taboo and self-control.
It's practically a religious experience. Try wearing at least swimming bottoms in the shower and pissing yourself, then you might understand what I'm talking about. -

2018-02-05 at 1:01 AM UTC in What ever happened to ol what's his nameTacho had a Reddit account. After one of his comments received hundreds of upvotes he made a post about it and being tempted to leave for it. Unfortunately I don't know what his username is or whether he still uses it. He does seem like the kind that would lose interest in it due to a lack of individual attention.

2018-02-05 at 12:20 AM UTC in The Retardest Thread: Fashionably Late Edition.I missed this article that talks about antinatalism and interviewed Benatar: https://www.reddit.com/submit?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.newyorker.com%2Fculture%2Fpersons-of-interest%2Fthe-case-for-not-being-born
It's nice to see all the subreddits it was crossposted to.
I wonder what kind of person Benatar is, what kind of life he's had. He seems so interesting and cool. It's noteworthy that he claims to have had anti-natalist sentiments from the time he was a child, although he didn't specify the age. -
