Originally posted by jerryb With the stupid knife laws in the UK I've wondered what the law is about walking staffs. Just wear your rucksack and your walking stick, tell the local cops you going hiking.
Also they say the UK over 80% white, I haven't seen that in the US since I was a kid.
Of course you can use a walking aid in the UK, you think they just gonna let all the old people and people with fucked up backs and legs just hobble round and suffer?
Fact is nobody gives a fuck about the knife laws or any other laws here. When I think I need a knife or any other weapon I take one with me. Think I care a fuck about those joker pigs? Think I'm risking my life just to comply with their bullshit policies ffs?
These days they prolly too busy dancing at some gay pride parade anyway.

JULIAN ASSANGE IS FREE
Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there. He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK.
This is the result of a global campaign that spanned grass-roots organisers, press freedom campaigners, legislators and leaders from across the political spectrum, all the way to the United Nations. This created the space for a long period of negotiations with the US Department of Justice, leading to a deal that has not yet been formally finalised. We will provide more information as soon as possible.
After more than five years in a 2x3 metre cell, isolated 23 hours a day, he will soon reunite with his wife Stella Assange, and their children, who have only known their father from behind bars.
WikiLeaks published groundbreaking stories of government corruption and human rights abuses, holding the powerful accountable for their actions. As editor-in-chief, Julian paid severely for these principles, and for the people's right to know.
As he returns to Australia, we thank all who stood by us, fought for us, and remained utterly committed in the fight for his freedom.
Julian's freedom is our freedom. -

2024-06-24 at 11:47 PM UTC in Just hearing Julian Assange is being freedI knew 2024 was gonna be a big year, is gonna be a year you will remember for the rest of your lives folks.
Lawyers for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and the U.S. government have struck a deal to end his decade-plus legal odyssey and allow him to return to his home country of Australia this week after pleading guilty to a felony charge of conspiring to disseminate classified information.
Under the pact detailed in court filings made public Monday evening, Assange would be sentenced to just over five years in prison, but would be entitled to immediate release because that’s roughly the amount of time he’s been jailed in England while fighting extradition to the U.S.
Adding another exotic twist to an already byzantine tale, Assange’s guilty plea to the Espionage Act charge is set to take place Wednesday morning in U.S. District Court in the Northern Mariana Islands — a U.S. territory in the south Pacific about 2,000 miles north of Australia.
The unusual venue appears to reflect Assange’s unwillingness to voluntarily return to the continental U.S., along with his deep distrust of the U.S. government. Assange and his allies have repeatedly accused U.S. officials of plotting to have him killed with a drone.

Originally posted by Lanny Lanny whats super delish is mash potatoes (garlic is better) with melted shredded cheese in it and mixed up with gravy on top, and a heaping of Guacamole next to it and then have both in a serving bowl each and tortilla chips. it makes a great dip
try it or Shut the fuck up and never say that sounds gross
I mix Cheddar into the mash when I make Cottage pie. Even better make the ground beef into Bolognese then top with the cheesy mash.
Its pretty amazing the concoctions you can come up with when you experiment with food. Anyone else do shit like that?
Jiggy you a chef right? Ever make up your own twists on stuff?
Or is being a chef just a twist you made up?
