As for beans, yes they're delicious, I lived for a year back in my 20s on Heinz baked beans for every meal (with 2 slices of buttered bread for dipping purposes).

whats super delish is mash potatoes (garlic is better) with melted shredded cheese in it and mixed up with gravy on top, and a heaping of Guacamole next to it and then have both in a serving bowl each and tortilla chips. it makes a great dip

I mix Cheddar into the mash when I make Cottage pie. Even better make the ground beef into Bolognese then top with the cheesy mash.
Its pretty amazing the concoctions you can come up with when you experiment with food. Anyone else do shit like that?
