actually i'm pretty sure them having a master key would breach the terms of service for the contract that you set up when you take out a safety deposit box. i mean what would be the point of taking one out if the bank staff could just have a look through it whenever they felt like it? i would imagine there would be some formality they would have to go through to open one anyway. either a court warrant or a specific time period where by you failed to respond.

yeah absolutely. its like i just mentioned in that other fred, addiction is basically lack of self-control. you just gotta relearn how to exercise self-control over yourself and you've pretty much got addiction beat. i did full on heroin addiction for 15 years then got to the point i just couldn't live that full on lifestyle a moment longer, but didn't have any desire to be absolutely clean. in fact the thought of never using smack again would make me want to kill myself for sure. i learnt self-control and just have a little binge every couple of weeks. sometimes i will feel mild wd's after that but i either just sit it out or have a few cwe's to get through it. its not a problem.
i'm sure the way every source of info on heroin preaches the idea that its either all or nothing, full on everyday use or total abstinence, that drills that idea into peoples minds. personally i now view using heroin as a recreational activity just like going to a ball game or the cinema. you wouldn't sit in the cinema all day everyday and you don't need to to enjoy it. plus it is definitely way more enjoyable when you just have it occasionally.

well this is it, whether the op truly has had enough of the addiction and the lifestyle that goes with it, or whether he's just kidding himself. the thing i found when i got to the point i couldn't go on with that lifestyle anymore is that i then found detoxing so fucking easy, like way easier than all the other times, which once i looked back, i really wasn't actually ready for and was just kidding myself or appeasing somebody else. that never works.

2018-07-02 at 10:47 PM UTC in HAS ANYBODY EVER QUITmethadone i found best but not how they(clinic) dispense it daily. get your own supply, take the least you need to make you feel well then don't take another dose until you feel withdrawals coming on. you should find that won't actually be for about 2 1/2 to 3 days(especially once you're stable on it). you can actually half your methadone dose very quickly doing this also. say you're doing 40ml every two days. once you feel stable on that start doing 20ml every day for a few days. then after that just start taking the 20ml as you feel withdrawals coming. you should find after a few days on 20ml that the 20ml will last you a couple of days at least. but don't take it until you definitely feel wd's coming on. even try and sit out the initial withdrawals as long as you can stand. even if its just 4 or 5 hours.
but staying clean is another matter, for that you need to learn self-control, for real. addiction is basically in a nutshell a lack of self-control. but it is something you can learn. start by testing yourself with small things and then keep testing yourself to how much control you can have over yourself, you'll prolly surprise yourself with what you are actually capable of.

In the opening post he said he was tripping all night, and he had to find something to do until he COULD get high again. Most people do trips just here and there as its not the sort of thing most people would really want to do everyday. I think the most I did was like about a week of doing acid everyday when I was about 17, lol. Now a days it's something I'd do like 2 or 3 times a year at most.
