Oh it happens up here too. Dumbasses who drive in the winter their entire lives and still end up sliding through intersections and getting in accidents because they dont understand the concept of icy roads. When there is even a chance of black ice, you can bet that I'm driving much slower than normal and hitting the breaks well before any stop that I have to make. It certainly doesnt hurt to drive cautiously. I still get to where I need to go even if it takes a few extra minutes.
