Here in ND if you get charged with a driving under suspension/revocation you actually get 60 days to get your license or a work permit and they will dismiss the charges. Obviously if you're indefinitely suspended this makes no difference as you can't get it back either way but it's a nice thing that has kept me from a DUS charge.

Funny story. The tags were expired by a month. Pulled into a gas station for petro, and never saw the fucker because he was sitting behind the building waiting for me. I had just picked up two roxi 30s for my mom. Almost ate them bitches, but didn't. She was already sick...so, I played it off. Got away with expired tags, seat belt, and driving on revoked. Not suspended. There's a difference. I should know. This makes number five for me. Third on paper. No risk of a habitual charge...this time.

It's the same here about dismissal. It gets dropped to driving without a license with a two or three dollar fine plus court costs. Best case scenario. If they show me a legit number between now and April...I want some judge to waive or reduce that shit because this is nuts. I've never had a DUI. Don't even really drink. Plus, it was at least insured, and TN insurance laws have recently overgone a change wherein failure to insure results in automatic lose of license, and they tow your shit. No hold for relative. No, "come on, bro. It's on private property (most businesses are considered as such). Can't I just park it?" "Nope. Sorry. Can't budge. Lemme get that key, though."

Anyway fuck tha police I bean driving without a license off and on for years and only have one driving under suspension charge. They automatically take your license away for a drinking charge but you can get any other drug charge and get to keep your license. Makes a lot of fucking sense. Revoking a license is one of the shittiest things you can do to a person, making it that much more difficult for them to get to work, stores, etc. and putting them in a tough spot where they often times become forced to drive anyway and eventually get busted again and have to pay more fines which involves more work and getting places but you can't drive to do it and it's all just fuckery. They should just give you loads of community service or something, just not take away your ability to drive.

Yah. Apparently, they yanked mine three months ago. I had no idea.

Yeah a guy like me brings it on himself when he chooses to drive drunk but even a punishment of having to check in and take breathalyzers for a while gives a guy the ability to retain driving rights and not make his life that much more difficult. There are consequences for actions but the consequences in place wind up keeping people caught in the system and that, to me, is sad.

    TURTLE TURTLE TURTLE

Pretty much. At least I was able to put it all off until after chrimmus. If not, that would have been horrible.

#1.) Moisture: Giving it time between baking can allow excess moisture to clear up, which can be a large problem for many food items. Moistness and the texture it affects is always a critical element. This could allow for the crisp golden layer that perfects many dishes.

#2.) If the food is allowed to age for short time, particularly during time spent outside the refrigerator, this can increase umami concentrations, allow the flavor to age and develop, despite the short period, because it is a food item that is rapidly decomposed and is not recommended to be eaten if left out for extended periods of time. This utilizes bacteria and undergoes a somewhat similar process to fermented foods, such as sauerkraut and kimchi, which lead to a very large rise in umami-msg concentrations. Wine and beer are other examples, and aging is a standard practiced, extended periods often providing some of the finest quality. Of course cheese is one of the best and most common examples of bacterial utilization, and bulk (not necessarily bad) bought items they use are generally of a quality that leave much to be desired. In particular, mass produced modern cheese is often aged for a relatively short period of time and could use quite a bit more to develop. Tomatoes, also relatively high in umami, particularly when paired with salt.

I have been on a Food Wars binge since Monday, could be boosting my cooking stat.

    No, and no.

Bake it once and take it out, then you do shit to it, mang. This part is critical. It's not just a potato baked twice. There's a process in between...

I guess, I've got about four months and two weeks to figure that out. I've gotta get my receipts together because 3k is just way too damn high to be right. I've paid thousands and thousands already, and now they wanna come out of the blue with some bullshit from 2003 that never had anything to do with driving. I only "owe" $4 on the no hunting license. The rest is probation fees and court costs from a misdemeanor possession that I ended up serving anyway because drug court.

It's funny how none of that prevented me from getting my shit back like three years ago. They're not getting three thousand dollars from me. I'll negotiate if they can show me an accurate number.

Nothing beats that twice baked goodness. Southern food is great after one bake. Put another to it and BAM you're Paula Deen.

Saw a Mexican guy with an immigration attorney that was there on some unrelated shit. The guy got an open container citation, but his blood test showed no alcohol, so dismissed...and this is where it got interesting. The immigration attorney had had his case pushed back a couple times because the interpreter was busy in another courtroom. The attorney himself spoke Spanish. He asked the court to ignore an expungement and instead document the disposition of the case so that it does stay on his record...but with a disposition of no cause.

Any public defender could have gotten it dismissed. This other guy got this nigga some papers. Smart. Future battles and all that. It's what I would do.
