Posts That Were Thanked by CASPER

  1. Originally posted by CASPER Nah most people are ambivalent and want to just live their lives. Many are distrustful but generally get along. And then theres a much smaller but statistically significant number of people who genuinely hate people that dont look like them. Im in CA so I rarely encounter the white variety, but i have met many blacks here who are vocally disdainful of whites and jedis lol,

Most black people mean 'the institution' when they talk about white people. Its not literally actual white people.

Just like how most anti-semites just mean the jedis in power and not like, some poor ass Israeli dude or the chill jedi they grew up with in school.

Same when it comes to white people hating blacks. "I just don't like the hood niggers!"

Nobody realizes that nobody likes ANY of these people. Nobody likes cholos, niggers, or wiggers. Nobody likes their lives being controlled.

Its funny how much travel erases ignorance. Benjamin Franklin literally thought Native Americans were so naturally dumb and savage they couldn't read. Then he saw a bunch of native kids in a school behaving and reading and it blew his mind. He did a complete 180 and started donating to schools that taught natives.

Just that little bit of exposure completely changed his view on native Americans. Isn't that fucking insane? He'd never seen a native american read before and just assumed they COULDN'T.

These are the kind of logical jumps bigots make.

The results are in, you have terminal niggeritis. Inability to replace shopping cart in correct location is a major symptom.

Well horror movies are horror movies, they don't really mind my brain...but a beheading is a beheading and yeah, that can permeate on a persons brain.

I think I've watched The Lighthouse.

    Definition
The definition of assault varies by jurisdiction, but is generally defined as intentionally putting another person in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact. Physical injury is not required.

    ___

    Apprehension"
In the context of assault, the victim's "apprehension" happens if the victim believes that the tortfeasor's conduct will result in imminent harmful or offensive contact unless it is prevented.

It is not necessary that the victim believes the conduct will be effective in making such contact, only that the victim believes the conduct is capable of making such contact.

    2) Im not saying the truck didnt pass him. I assumed they drove past him and yelled at him to stop, before parking in the middle of the road up ahead.

Yeah exactly... That's already aggressive. They were gonna try to stop him whether he wanted to or not.

    3) Wait…what? The son is in the truck? Okay i cant contest that. But the guyin the TRUCK…who doesnt have a weapon drawn….is the one that shot him? Not the guy with the shotgun Arbery is wrestling with.

Yeah. You can see him readying up. The clip I posted is on YT so it doesn't include the seconds afterwards where the victim dies.

    4) Ill have to watch the video a few more times, but i didnt see any movement at all. When the view of the truck is finally unostructed, the driver is already standing outside with the door open. Cant do much swerving at that point.

Just notice the distance between the guy and the truck the first time you see him, then the next.

First he is standing directly next to the truck, second he is in the middle of the road, third he appears to be back near the truck (probably to point at him over the hood)

Your first RPG is a really special thing.

Besides Pokémon I don't think I played an actual RPG till Oblivion. Going into a someone's house, killing them, taking their clothes off, being accosted by the guards... I felt like I could do anything. It was a real virtual world.

I remember arguing with my mom HARD about how the ESRB was unfair, moving the rating from T to M. The Lusty Argonian Maid wasn't even THAT bad and the nudity was only available through MODS

I remember when my Dad first stop dropping me off at school every morning and showed me how to take the bus...

For some reason I was super excited to be traveling on my own .. I was always known as the girl who had the “ over protective father” so I felt a sense of independence..but I also remember being kinda scared on there...lol

But I had 2 buses to take and he showed me exactly where to get on and get off and all that ...

I have a vivid memory of getting off the bus for the first time and there was my dad ..

He had been following the buses the whole time and watching to make sure I got on & off on the right stops etc...

That also reminds me of the time I got on the wrong bus and ended up at the lake front and was terrified because I was nowhere near my home 😭

Idk why those memory just popped in my head

Man I used to look fly af in my school uniform.. because I used to coordinate pink in it and still be on dress code 🤗
    :)

I’d be at the top bunk like oh man this is gonna be a great all nighter right Brandi?! Right b ?!

B? *looks down from top bunk*

    She’s asleep.....

*looks at honey buns and now & later candies and salt & sour chips*

Well... guess it’s just us now ....

Idk why people dont let their elders talk. They have the most useful shit to say. Sometimes.

Let's just say I'm well over 60. My description of the muscular hideous viking still holds true to me, and saved my bacon now and then, but I've been here and there, and lived a truly incredible life, that should have been cut short many times. every second to me is a gift.

I'd be honored to tell you more, and.... I would have loved to hear your grandma talk as well!.....Rural Mexico is STILL amazing, and you should be extremely proud to be from there. Your legacy of math, philosophy, and of-course building skills are second to none.

Humans of today categorize everything to make them feel comfy, but your Native American spirit lands go from Chile' South America, to Coronation Gulf, Northwest Territories. Many tribes traded with each other in times of the Anasazi, and there were far more cities and trading hubs than we'll ever truly know. They are uncovering stuff daily, all the time, and it almost constantly challenges written known history that they teach.

Most people forget that Native America is 2 giant continents. Not just "Native American Indians of the United States, and sometimes Canada", and from Mexico down, is another world. It's not. White people made it that way, and they try to take or steal those cultures for themselves, and make them cutesy and safe, and to capitalize on cash, without really seeing what that culture is all about. What a shame! You've seen this near the borders I'm sure. And then there's Taco Bell. Prime example. Fair, would have been to help the culture out that gave the owner the idea in the first place. They certainly have the money.

Thing is, is that there are hidden gems everywhere, and all those elderly folks are the real libraries that can make those gems come to life with the most richly painted experiences that can capture the mind's eyes.

    Otherwise, gems are just gems.
