The TNG one where they all dressed up as prohibition era gangsters was legit. The guy that played Q plays golf wih my neighbor couple times a month.
Yeah I liked that. The sinatra type singer guy in DS9 kinda gives a similar vibe, as does the bar in Voyager.
I love all the Q episodes. It's such an interesting society, I like how they're all bored as fuck like the Shinigami realm. The 2D dimension was neat too. Especially since they didn't just do some LOOK IM CARTOON bullshit.
Star Trek has a way of making you actually think. It's pretty great. Anyone who wont watch it because its 'nerdy' is missing out on some of the best stories and concepts television has seen. I'm stateside in New Mexico right now, working in the Chiricahua Mountains. also, In the Sahara, such as the town of Ad Dakhla, stores carry frozen fruit of every variety. Also, in the Oasis's along the great trail, Through Mali and Niger, there are little settlements here and there that will sell you frozen stuff for about the same price as here, which is terribly expensive there. The Dinar in Morocco and Western Sahara, is about 10 to the US dollar right now.
The Sahara, depending where you are, actually has some low mountains, and high hills, as well as massive sand dunes.
